Setting up camp used to mean crawling under the trailer and guessing at which side needed more lift. With this system, that’s gone. The Lippert Ground Control 3.0 uses four precise, motorized steel jacks and an auto-level feature that does the work for you. Hit one button on the touchpad and all four jacks raise, lower, and stabilize until your rig is perfectly level. Hall effect sensors monitor motor revolutions per minute for accurate movement, while the hitch recognition memory brings your trailer back to the same spot when you’re ready to hook up again.
Getting level by hand takes time, blocks, and plenty of trial and error. This system handles it automatically so you can start relaxing sooner. Larry from South Carolina called it one of his best upgrades—he lifts off the truck, presses auto level, and the system takes care of everything in seconds. The Ground Control 3.0 runs on a 12-volt system and comes with a control module, wiring harnesses, rear sensor, and mounting hardware so you can bolt it on without welding or splicing.
Once parked, stability matters as much as speed. Each of the four bolt-on jacks is built from corrosion-resistant steel with a black powder coat finish for long-term durability. Large round foot plates spread weight evenly and keep the jacks from sinking into soft ground. The front landing gear offers 21" of travel while the rear jacks provide 12-1/2", giving your rig a steady stance even on uneven terrain.
Electric systems are great until something unexpected happens. Every jack in this setup includes manual override ports at the top and bottom of the motor so you can raise or lower them with a 3/8" drive ratchet if power ever drops out. It’s peace of mind built right into the design—no need to worry about getting stuck mid-operation when batteries run low.
The included touchpad mounts inside a front storage compartment where it stays protected from weather but within sight of your hitch. Its lighted LCD screen gives clear prompts so you always know what function is running. You can level from that touchpad or add an optional touchscreen remote (sold separately) to handle it from up to 50 feet away—handy when you’re working solo or fine-tuning position before hitching back up.
Determine where these jacks will be mounted on your trailer. Use this system if there will be 20' or less between the center of the landing gear footpad and the center of the rear jack footpad. If your setup requires more than 20' between the jacks, use the 6-point Ground Control system (LC675817) instead.

The jack system is wonderful to watch as it levels my 5th wheel trailer. Set uppack up is much shorter and accurate. The auto hitch feature is great.

Excellent. These self leveling jacks make set up of my 5th wheel trailer a snap. Really like the reconnect mode, no guessing where to set the pin for recouping. Should have installed these years ago.

Manual control is still working great after 1 year. However the remote battery has died and LCI claims no replacement and another one cost a lot Thats not cool LCI

Well it has been 5 years now and 11 trips. System still works very well. I have only had one occasion were It could not level my 5th wheel and that was due to a very uneven and out of level site that I was assigned. Still very much love my levelers

works perfectly. saves a lot of time not to mention my back. no more backing and pulling up park it un hook and press the level button. you no longer need or have to store all the leveling devices you use to use. worth every penny and beats buying another rv just to get auto leveling. I would do it all over again but sooner. Simple to install..
