Using The XO Series as a Stabilizer and a Jack

When you're overlanding, or simply towing a camper through potentially uneven terrain, don't be surprised if you find yourself needing to change a tire. You may not even get to decide if it will need to be done on flat concrete, soft ground, or rocky terrain. This jack was designed to allow you to change a tire on any terrain and be on your way. With the help of an articulating footplate, it also helps to stabilize your rig while you unload your cargo when you do make it to the campsite (on schedule, hopefully).

If you find yourself needing to use the stabilizers at an angle, you can do that. Just keep in mind that the wider lifting angle may reduce how high up you can lift the trailer. There is a marking on the inner tube of this jack to help you identify the maximum lift of 25". Beyond that height, the stabilizer does not have a weight capacity rating. Always be sure to raise the jacks equally to avoid bending or twisting your camper's frame, or putting uneven weight on any one the stabilizer legs.

Note: These legs are designed to stabilize a portion of your trailer's weight, not to support the full GVWR of your trailer.
