Worked out great, didn’t have to do any drilling as the hole spacing matched the bolt spacing of the D rings on my trailer. When folded they are completely above the framing of the trailer.

Added these to my 5x7 utility trailer, for 2 reasons, one to stable the tail when unloading, 2 to use as a Jack for flat tires. They are what I wanted and expected! Good pricing also help. I chose to weld them on, 30 minutes install time.

Awesome! Used them for the 1st time last weekend. They worked excellent in making for my tailgate as a platform for additional outside level seating space

Stabilizers works well and easy install. Highly recommend mods.

Cheaply made. Bottom plate broke day after install. Mounted on 500lb trailer

Thank you for letting us know Matt. This is the first time I have heard of these breaking. Please keep in mind these stabilizers are designed to only support a portion of the trailers weight. They are designed to support about 2 thousand lbs as a pair.

First of all these jacks did exactly as advertised. I have a small utility/camping trailer I wanted to stabilize better to help eliminate the trailer from rocking or sliding around. After mounting them they immediately improved the stability. If I wanted I could even raise the trailer wheels off the ground. I installed 1 pair underneath the back of the trailer. Install took less than 15 min.
The only negative of this design is the catch mechanism that holds the jack in the UP position. Returning from a camping trip a passing motorist informed me that one of the jacks were down. Luckily it was not damaged. Its possible it was rubbing on the trailer and wasn't able to fully lock UP. After a quick adjustment they have given me zero problems.

Received product scuffed of paint due to no dunnage or packing material inserted at warehouse before shipping.

We definitely expect that the stabilizer jacks will arrive undamaged to you. Customer Service will reach out to you.

This is my second set, and they're as great as my first pair. Can't say enough about how great the service is , as it also was last time. the order arrived in less than 2 days, FANTASTIC . other places the orders take a week to arrive. etrailer gets a solid 5 stars from me.

Arrived quickly, works as described, installation not too hard. You will need 4 self tapping screws and plenty of washers to create clearance needed for the little tab near the foot.

Great jacks! Just what I was looking for for my small camping trailer.

Have ordered many times from etrailer and have never been disappointed. Easy online ordering and quick delivery.
Installed the item and was quick and easy with the help of etrailer's video. Thank goodness for that since the manufactured provides no product instructions. Their video showed the installation and product overview. The video also showed a "gotcha" that would have been frustrating had it not been for the video. Will definitely order from etrailer again when the need arises.

Before installing them I checked them with a straight edge across the top of the mounting bracket to see if there would be any conflicts in the stored position. All four had contact with the straight edge that would have made it impossible to pull them out of the bracket to lower them after installation. I had to insert 3, 1/8" steel bar spacers and one 1/4" steel bar spacer. Now they all work perfectly.Other than that they are a great product.

They work exactly for what I need. Unfortunately they are easily bent when foreword backward force is applied. Not a big deal, just make sure the trailer is secure before using.

More or less what I expected, maybe a bit flimsier that I’d like but not bad for the price. I do wish that etrailer wouldn’t plaster their products with unsightly stickers that are difficult to remove. No customer wants them, and in this case they were applied upside down so they don’t even provide a good advertisement for the company.

Beyond happy with these jacks! They worked exactly as needed and the whole purchase process was super easy thanks to the professionalism of the staff!

Product appears to be good quality. However, two jacks and rod put into box with no packing materials and no instructions. Box lid open upon arrival.

You mentioned that the jacks were missing the instructions. I wanted to let you know that the manufacturer does not include written instructions. We have looked into this however and we do have a good question link that has some mounting details. Please see the link below.

They do come with the adjustment bar. Wasn’t clear description when I ordered it so I wasn’t sure and bought an extra, but they do come with the bar. These are very short so double check before you buy.

Product was out of stock and was to arrive after June 1st but came early and now installed. Item is very solid and I can load my Trailer now without having it hooked up to my truck.

They worked great. Diviana (at E-Trailer) did a great job of finding what I was looking for.

Pretty straight forward install. I got lucky was the D-Ring tie down bolts were the same spacing so I used them.

Outstanding prices I find on typical products, only downside I wish the products would come with hardware for installation. I will be a returning customer though.

These jacks matched exactly to our 1983 Coleman tent trailer.

Glad I was able to find quality parts to keep my 1995 pop up going a few more years! Work great and easy to weld on.

Working great! Welded on nicely and had been sturdy through several camping trips.

Quality looks good this will be my first time using these can’t go wrong with the price.

These work well only reason for the 4 star is because these don't come in any sort of packaging and was all scratched up when it arrived. Thankfully they replaced the damaged order with more loosely packed items that weren't AS damaged....

  • Mounting Orientation of TJ01RT-HD Stabilizer Jack
There many possible ways to mount a stabilizer jack such as the # TJ01RT-HD you looked at. Mounting them in the orientation shown the diagram would tend to work a bit better to stabilize the trailer against side to side movement, while having the jacks parallel to the trailer frame members would do a better job stabilizing against fore/aft movement. However, mounting them as shown in the diagram would be pretty effective against movement both ways from normal movement in the trailer. The...

  • Where To Mount Stabilizer Jacks For A Freedom Elite 28h RV
Let me start by stating that the stabilizer jacks like the Etrailer Stabilizer Jacks, Item # TJ01RT-HD, are designed to support a portion of your trailer's weight, not your full GVWR of your trailer. When you install them pick a location that will provide more stability and not so much lift capacity. Generally, the best place to mount them is in the back and/or the corners on the frame of your Freedom Elite 28h RV. These stabilizer jacks will telescope to the ground and swing up and...

  • Can Stabilizer Jacks # TJ01RT-HD Be Mounted To Trailer With 2 Inch Round Frame
The Stabilizer Jacks # TJ01RT-HD can work with the two inch frame of your trailer but either a plate will need to be welded to the frame or the jacks themselves would need to be welded. With the small radius of the trailer frame, trying to mount the jacks with bolts or another method would be unstable.

The Atwood stabilizer jack is meant to hold up or stabilize the trailer, not lift it up off the ground.

  • Can etrailer Stabilizer Jacks be Installed on Enclosed Aluminum Trailer
The Stabilizer Jacks # TJ01RT-HD are actually a universal fit so while they are typically used for travel trailers, there really is no reason why you shouldn't be able to install them on an enclosed trailer. With that being said, I recommend reaching out to your trailer manufacturer to see what they recommend doing for this since you do have an aluminum trailer. Some aluminum trailers are just fine to bolt things to while other manufacturers don't recommend it.
