Finally got around to installing my PT II Stabilizers 30" front and rear of our 26' Surveyor. Pre - assembled them to make sure they went together ok. Luckily I had two sources for power front & rear which made wiring easy, I used a Buss block to make all positive connections, grounds straight to frame, soldered all connections and heat srinked to seal. Using the 3/8" self tappers was fun.Well got it all together and all works well makes trailer very stable, don't have to worry about scissor jacks collapsing anymore.

Working well they make our trailer very stable compared to the sizzor jacks that came on our trailer well worth the money. Install was easy and had them spot welded to frame.

by:

Great price and service, They shipped one half of jack system and after phone and picture of part I received, they found second have and shipped out the next day.
Installed easy, but had to call manufacture to figure out the wiring, manufacture was very helpful also. It been on for a year with lots of use.

by:

It looks like a great product am anxious to install them.
I have a symbol of them in my garage and I have one with a really crooked foot. The bolt hole on the retracting arm was drilled in the wrong place so it is totally crooked, not a deal breaker though. I’m sure the are more than Adequate

After installation the stability or my toy hauler was increased X3. The installation was relatively easy and all that was needed was common tools and a floor jack. Wiring was covered by simple easy to follow instruction. Some shrink wrap and a solder gun make permanent water resistant connections which I recommend.

by:

Would have been nice to know that it didn't fit my Grand Design Imagine 22MLE without some "frame modifications", and over $xxxx in installation costs.

Warning to new buyers; DO SOME REAL CLOSE MEASURING TO MAKE SURE THE SYSTEM
WILL FIT BETWEEN ALL ATTACHED HARDWARE, LIKE DUMP VALVES AND DROP FRAMES! any modifications will cost you dearly.

Electric motors are very slow, seems like it takes forever to drop each foot.

BUT----------They do work.

Robert

6/7/2023

They're still working, still slow, and don't have the lifting power I expected. Each jack is supposed to have 3000 pounds capacity, trailer weighs less than 6000 lbs but jacks stall out without solid stability. The higher the trailer and straighter the jacks the better they hold.

by:

I finished the assembly and install of the power twin II stabilizer and have included pictures of the install. This is a good quality unit and I am very happy with how it works.

by:

Little intimidating at first, just took my time and it went together without any major problem. The problem that I had was dealt with quickly. It's solid and well built. Print on the instructions was a little small for my eyes. Having the instructions on line was a great help.

by:

The Jacks are considerably more durable well built compared to the Lippert models. The lifting power is real and once on the ground the prevent movement of the RV by orders of magnitude over the other style jacks. I only have one in the center of a long trailer and it has stopped the bouncing and side to side swaying of the trailer. Just stepping onto the stairs to get in its rock solid. Also when all the legs are deployed the doors close way better than they ever had with just the Lippert jacks on the front and back. Definitely recommend to anyone thinking about a better jack than what's provided oem.

by:

I received the leveller/stabilizer as expected. The instructions for installation were clear and I found it easy to assemble and install them. Wiring was a bit tricky because of my trailer design, but worked out fine in the end. I have just returned from a three week trip and can recommend this product whole heartedly. One thought I have had is that a manual version might be satisfactory, using a drill to drive the gears until they engage with the ground, and then using a manual crank after that. The motors are a bit slow to drop the feet to the ground because they also have the necessary torque and gear ratios to lift the corner of the trailer. All in all, a great product.

5/28/2020

I continued to use the trailer until parking it for the winter in the fall of 2019. The stabilizers continued to work well. I have nothing further to add, unfortunately, until this pandemic is done.

by:

The stabilizer was a great purchase. It has lived up to it’s description as advertised. I did have to make some alterations. Because I have a slide out carrying rack on my 2010 Cougar 5th wheel, I had to weld the stabilizer to the frame so I could use the slide out rack. It works great. I highly recommend the product.

Robert

3/26/2020

Great product. The levelers worked as advertised and brought a very noticeable stability to my 5th wheel that was not present with the original equipment that the trailer was equipped with...scissor jacks.

by:

Nice product. Shipping was fast and communications were good. Heavy duty stabilizers, I'm sure they will be more stable than the old scissor jacks. The only problem I had was the one ear was broken off of the one switch. Does not effect function but when you buy something new you expect it to be right.

Works good no problems

by:

It took a while before I installed it, and it was a pretty involved effort putting it on our 5th wheel but after it was installed it worked as I hoped. Actually my wife wanted it more because she despised it when I used the chordless impact wrench because of the noise it made in a quiet campground. Now it is simple, quiet and I dont use blocks under the jacks so it is a lot quicker to set up and what makes it really nice is my bride can take on that set up/take down task. I didnt give an excellent review because of the effort to install (but truthfully there were no shortcuts to get the equipment installed other than to have paid for someone to do it for me) They also recommended putting the switches in an enclosed box on the rig. That isn't very feasible so I mounted mine on the side of the rig above the jack so you can watch what's happening. I also put exposed weatherproof switch covers on to keep them from getting brushed off or tampered with while traveling. All in all worth the money and effort.

by:

Quick follow up after a year or so of use on the Twill ll Electric Stabilizers.
I have one set on rear and one set on front of my 28' Coach. I have found that it is better to use a solid piece of 12"x12" hard wood for the feet to rest on while setting up the camper at site. the plastic ones seem to push in after a bit and I have to re-adjust. As far as the Jacks are concerned, they perform as they should, making the coach very solid with little to no movement. I have had 0 issue's with them since I installed. Not a super easy task by yourself in your driveway but not that hard either.
just take your time, run heavy gauge wire for power so no drop in amp. all good!
thanks,

by:

Having newer higher travel trailer the scissor jacks that came with the unit couldn’t reach the ground and blocking had to be carried. The electric stabilizers do come in different length legs depending on what you need. They work great, mounting them to the frame was a little work. I was able to do the work myself. Deciding where to mount your switches and how to run wire to them takes some planning. The jacks themselves are very sturdy when down and can lift the camper (not recommended).

by:

The Ultra-Fab Power Twin II is a very robust stabilizer and works very well with the two heavy duty twin motor Ultra-Fab landing gear jacks I had previously installed on the front of our 32' fifth wheel. I like this product for it's strength and simplicity. It allows leveling and stabilizing without hand cranking or getting down on knees with a cordless drill and socket. I performed the complete assembly and install myself which replaced the two scissor jacks that came on the fifth wheel. This unit makes for a very stable platform.

by:

On a nice sunny day I pulled out my new Power twin Stabilizer set. The Ultra-Fab went together as the direction read. The sizing to the trailer frame was a bit of taking a part to slide together as it is a very tight fit. I was replacing a cheaper set put on by the trailer MFG. adding spacer to fill in for the longer and better frame work of the Ultra- fab Stabilizer. The power units went on without any fuss. I am very pleased with my handy work the ease of installation. etrailer was great support when I thought a part was missing in shipping. All parts were in the boxes when I open them all up. Thank you etrailer

by:

I want to give this product 5 stars as they are a very nice set of stabilizer jacks that are very heavy duty but I'd have to say that the quality control from Ultra Fab is not great. The connecting bracket, part # 39-841642 on both sets was very poorly fabricated. On one set the holes were not drilled in a straight line and therefor did not line up with the holes on the jacks forcing me to drill new holes and on the other set the bracket was actually a whole quarter of an inch narrower at one end than the other and the jacks did not even fit into the bracket. Due to time constraints and not being able to be down more than a day after cutting off the old jacks I was forced to cut the bracket and weld it back together straight so that it was usable. Costing me an extra 2 hours of time and frustration. Nice jacks otherwise but I advise to assemble them completely and make sure the parts line up before removing your old parts.

great product

by:

The Jack's came really boxed up well. They came in 3 boxes. Assembly was really not a difficult task. I built them in my driveway and slid the right under the camper. I do recommend that you get a real good measurement of your trailer frame (outside to outside) before putting under trailer. That way you not crawling under your trailer 10 times to move adjusting bolts TRUST ME ON THIS ONE! These Jack's are really heavy duty. Must say they are a very well made. Better then the stuff new trailers are coming with off the lots.

by:

Ultra- Fab did a great job with this product. Extra heavy duty and a easy install. Very good quality mounting hardware included. Nothing else needed for installation. This system makes setting up at the camp site a breeze. If you are looking for a stabilizer leveler system
your search is over. etrailer.com could not have done a better job.
A great web site and fast shipping. Keep up the good work.

by:

Package received mostly in tack. Heavy stuff could use better packing. Product came together just like instructions say. Put wiring per instructions and inserted fuses. Turned the switches on and up she went. I will love it. No more manual leveling. The heavier 6,000 lb lift will be better for my fifth wheel 35 foot challenger. When it is up you can't tell it's even there. Mine is the twin 11 stabilizer with dual motors.

by:

I Love these Electric Stabilizers, They work Great.
They Make setting up and taking down, so much easier.
The Duel Motors have plenty of Power and give you complete control of leveling both Sides Independently.
The only Negative is the Glass fuse style Fuse Holders that come with them, They work intermittently at Best. Replace with the Blade Style Fuse Holders. Much Better.

  • Will The Lippert High-Speed Power Stabilizer Jack Fit The Frame Of A 2023 Jayco Jay Flight 265RLSW
The Lippert High-Speed Power Stabilizer Jack # LC298707 would not be able to mount to your frame since you only have 68-1/4" from outside to outside edge and this stabilizer requires a 68-11/16" spacing.
