Video Transcript for Review of Lippert Components Replacement Parts - Ground Control 3.0 Control Module - LC304136

Today we'll be taking a quick look at the replacement control module for Lippert Brown control 3.0 electric leveling system. This is going to replace that control module to make sure that all your ground control jacks work correctly. This just mounts to the compartment underneath the coach, and it has stickers on it to let you know exactly how it needs to be oriented. We'll have this one, it says that this arrow needs to be pointed towards the front of the vehicle. Then we'll have our left front, left front, and then right rear and right front. It makes it pretty easy to figure out how this needs to be oriented, and then another sticker there to let us know that it needs to be mounted this side up.It does not come with the hardware to get this installed, so you will either need to purchase some on your own, or reuse the hardware from your old module.

We'll have our wires coming off here that you get connected to everything. We have our plugs that will plug up to our jack motors and sensors. It comes with four 35 amp fuses in place, and this is a direct replacement from Lippert Components, but just for reference, I'll give you some measurements. It's about eight and a half inches long from the mounting flange to the other side. The distance between those two mounting flanges, center to center, is right about eight inches.

In the other direction, it measures about five and a quarter inch, side to side. And then those mounting holes, center to center, are about three and an eighth inches apart. Overall, it sits about three inches tall with the fuses in place. And again, this does work with the ground control 3.0 electric leveling system, part number LC 38. Excuse me. LC 358590.

If you need any other replacement parts for your ground control leveling system, we have a lot of options available here at etrailer.com, so definitely check those out. And, that's going to do it for the look at the replacement ground control.. The replacement control module for the Lippert ground control 3.0 electric leveling system..

Everyone at etrailer has been very helpful and responsive to any questions. The only problem I had was not the fault of Etrailer but UPS. The box the product came in was extremely damaged and retaped and packaged in a haphazard way. Fortunately the product was not damaged. I have had problems with UPS delivery in the past.

It was the right part I needed. It works perfectly. People just be careful about what you’re shoving in your underbelly. Previous owner broke the board for the leveling system because they shoved something up against it and one jack wouldn’t work. Cost me $178.00 to find out.
I’ll definitely be back to etrailer if I need parts for my 5th wheel.

Replaced defective unit with this one from eTrailer and, whoopee, everything works again. Easy job to replace. Talking to ICI gave no clue as to why the old one failed. It was about three years old and trailer had not been used much due to couple years of health problems. Worked last summer/fall then put away in storage and when went to hook up few days ago it was dead. ICI rep was wonderful in helping diagnose the problem. Korren at eTrailer was fantastic in arranging overnight delivery. Ordered Wednesday afternoon and unit was here Thursday late morning.

Pricy, but was an exact match and worked like a charm, easy swap out. 4 stars only because of price.

Purchased this item to convert the 6-point system I ordered to a 4-point system since the distance from the front landing jack to the rear jack is 14 feet. The controller works great.

We had arrived to our campsite when the control module for our auto leveling electric jacks went out. I called trailer and was able to get a replacement shipped to me. Rachel B. was incredibly helpful and was able to get the item shipped a day early. I ordered the item on a Tuesday and it arrive in California on Thursday. I fixed the jacks and it's been good so far. The repacement module is slightly different. The biggest difference is in the way it connects to power. The old module has a post for positive and negative wires from the trailer batteries. The new module simply has wires requiring you to snip off the original connections and, using wire nuts, connect the new module to the trailer. E trailer has always been great and I will continue to be a very happy return customer.

  • Troubleshooting Leveling System Where Jacks Indicate Down on Panel When Jacks are Retracted Up
I reached out to my tech contact at Lippert and they said based on your description it sounds like you have a Level Up hydraulic unit. Normally the issue that you are stating occurs on those units when there is a pump pressure issue and the pump in that case would need replaced. If you have hoses that lead to your jacks, this is most likely the issue. If you have the ground control electric system with motors on each jack, let me know and we can continue to troubleshoot.

  • LCI Electronic Leveling Power is Intermittent on a 2016 Raptor 412ts
It sounds like there may be an issue with the battery on your trailer. Either it has a low charge or needs to be replaced. I recommend having the battery tested and replaced as needed. When plugged into shore power the battery is likely getting a charge which would explain why it works better. Beyond that you can check the wiring and ground connections and clean away any corrosion as needed. A poor ground could cause a similar problem.

It sounds like you just need to reset the zero point. In order to do this you will need to follow the steps I have attached for you below and in the photo. If this does not fix your issue then please just let me know and I will see if we have any other actions for you to preform. 1. Manually run the jacks to level the unit. This is best achieved by placing a level in the center of the unit and leveling it both front to back and then side to side. 2. Once the unit is level, turn off the...

  • Front Jack Legs On Lippert Ground Control Lower When Slide Is Used
I spoke to my contact at Lippert about the issue you are having with your Lippert Ground Control Leveling System. They informed me that there is a problem with the valve on the front leg. The valve is either being bypassed or the set screw on the valve is open. I recommend you use a 5/32" allen wrench and verify the valve is closed by turning it counter clockwise. If the valve will not turn, it is closed and that means it most likely needs to be replaced.

  • Troubleshooting Flashing Display of Lippert Ground Control and Jacks Won't Retract
I spoke with my contact at Lippert and he informed me that the lights flashing indicate the low point of the coach and that if you perform a zero point calibration you will correct that. In the service manual you will need to follow the instructions for Homing Jacks and Zero Point Calibration on page 10. I attached a link on this page that will take you to the manual. Plus screenshots from the instructions that detail how to do the zero point calibration.

  • Replacement Circuit Board for Lippert Ground Control 4 Point
Thank you for the picture of the module your Lippert Ground Control kit has as I can tell from it that you have a 4 point kit. So for a replacement control module you'd want the part # LC304136. The "points" refer to the number of jack legs the kit has. A 4 point has 4 jack legs and a 6 point uses 6 legs.

  • Lippert Ground Control 3.0 Will Not Retract
If you have reset the system and they are still not retracting, you will need to check a few things. First will be the fuses. If one or more of these have failed, it can cause the system to not function properly. Next will be ground connections. A bad ground can cause any number of weird things to happen and this will definitely fall under this. You will need to make sure all the grounds have good solid connection to bare metal. I reached out to Lippert on your behalf regarding your issue. They suspect a valve is being bypassed in the Ground Control system # LC304136 and it is not weather related. They recommended you test the set screw on all the valves for the jacks and slide out cylinders applicable to your 2018 Roadwarrior 413.
