Notes:
For most landing gear, it's typical to have 2 weld stops that measure either 17-1/2" or 21-1/2" apart (measuring outside to outside). The Ultra-Fab Deluxe, however, is unique in that it has 3 weld stops with some rather odd measurements between them.
In the off chance that your weld stops measure either 13-1/2" or 19-1/8" between the top of the first one to the top of the bottom one, you should be able to use your existing mounting brackets, making for an easier installation. If not, then you'll need to cut those brackets off and weld on the new ones included with the kit.
And, just in case you're curious, the distance between the second and the third weld stops is 5-5/8".
There are some benefits to having legs working independently of each other. First, each leg isn't bearing the burden of the other as it is in a single-motor system. And because each leg works on its own, you can adjust each one separately when leveling. When you have legs that extend at the same rate, leveling on uneven terrain can not only prevent your trailer from being perfectly level, but in extreme cases, it can bend and warp your chassis if they're pushed out too far. With independently operated legs, not only are you able to fine-tune how much each leg extends, but the clutch inside each motor will prevent the legs from over-extending.
Second, with the cross shaft removed, you may have more room to carry any additional cargo you might need on your journey.
But when you solve one problem, sometimes you create another. So, there are a few things you should keep in mind if you're considering upgrading to this set of landing gear. First, responding to emergency power failures will take a bit more time. This electric-only option is not compatible with a manual hand crank, so you won't be able to use one to lower both legs at the same time. Instead, you'll have to remove the 4 screws that connect the motor to the leg and use a large flathead screwdriver to lower each leg individually.
This can turn into a real chore if your legs are in the furthest corners of your storage compartment, like the one shown above.
Even when the power is on, the Ultra-Fab Deluxe landing gear has a screw travel rate of 1 inch every 15 seconds. In total, that means extending the full 21 inches would take you about 5 minutes. Fortunately, the 17 inches of drop leg travel should help to reduce some of that time.
Landing gear stabilizes about 25% of your trailer's total weight when it's loaded with cargo. For example, a 14,000-lb 5th-wheel trailer has a pin weight of about 3,500 lbs. To stabilize a trailer of this size, you'll need a set of landing gear strong enough to lift at least 3,500 lbs. And, yes, it's okay to have landing gear with a weight rating that is higher than your trailer's pin weight. In fact, it should operate more efficiently, allowing you to spend less time cranking and more time camping.

After 2 replacements of tandem landing gear sets performed by dealership under warranty and still struggling lifting my 5th wheel, I decided to purchase this upgrade on my own dime. Best money I’ve spent in years. These lift my 15,000-16,000 5th wheel with no issues. Consistent and quiet. I don’t stress out anytime I’m hitching or unhitching anymore. 100% recommend buying. I’ve already talked 2 of my friends to do this upgrade and they love it.
Everything from E-Trailers handling of shipment was smooth and fast. The in-line fuses were broken and very cheap quality. I replaced them with some from O'Reiily's and all worked fine.
I bought this to replace the under powered OEM landing gear on my 2018 39' toy hauler 5th wheel. I received great service from etrailer staff. First time for me to remove and replace landing gear so after 1 or 2 youtube videos I was able to get it done with a little grinding and drilling (and cursing).
I've been using the new landing gear for a year now and here are my thoughts:
PROS:
Ability to adjust the 2 sides independently. Makes leveling much easier.
Quality hardware and stronger motors.
CONS:
The toggle switches that come with it are very stiff and a bit awkward to use.
The pin at the bottom of each leg is not attached. You have to pull it out, then line it up with the hole to replace it. All others I've seen have a spring loaded guided pin.
The legs don't go up or down any faster than the OEM. Although that was never claimed, I was hoping they would.
Overall I am happy with the product. I will say, if I had to do it again I would strongly consider going with the competitor's product for the better controls and spring loaded pins.
Wowzers, what having two motors working to lift my 5th wheel toy hauler. Lifts it with no problem. Fast, makes hooking up and unhooking a breeze. No more struggling like it would with the stock single motor setup. Wish I would have done this years ago, not when one of my legs gears stripped on the first day of a 5 day NASCAR weekend. Good thing I had a 6 ton bottle jack, several wood blocks, got it off my truck, enjoyed the weekend and ordered these first thing when I got home. Install wasn't bad, if you work on things, should be no problem. Mild modification of my trailer hangers and flooring in the storage where the legs are, but nothing major. Hooked up to my truck to take the weight off instead of using jack stands. About 6 hours total, took my time to do it right.

Nothing has changed, works great, lift it with no problem, no struggling like with the old one motor set up. If you have to replace your one motor landing gear system, suck it up and get these.
The problem isn’t with the product at all when the motor went out on the Jack I was in Canada headed for Alaska mailed it from Tok, Alaska told them that I needed it mailed to Valdez Alaska emailed them the address and they still mailed it to Idaho so my husband has to mail it to Alaska. The great thing is they it was still under warranty and they replaced it with a new motor and also the jack stand. But in the meantime, I’m traveling Alaska for the next three months. Super inconvenient to unhook with only one Jack and how long is it going to last????
Really nice setup. I have a 2018 Jayco fifth wheel with the "slave". Now I can adjust both sides individually or at the same time. They bolted right up to my factory brackets. Plenty of power. It comes with individual switches. Would be nice to have an "all in one" switch setup. I have seen them with single switches and also a dual switch option. still happy though.
I received the Jack's in acceptable time, free shipping was great. 1 jack failed upon install. It was replaced and is working now. I'm glad I had the time to wait. etrailer good company and I will order from them again

Received a faulty jack originally but you guys responded so quickly and made it right. I really appreciate the excellent service. It has worked great. Better than stock
Just got them installed and seem to work as advertised. Having two motors rather than one really makes a huge difference when lifting my 15K lb. fifth wheel off the gooseneck hitch on my truck. I also love the idea that we’ll be able to fine tune the final adjustments when setting up camp since each jack works on its own switch. My only complaint is the switches is big and bulky.
landing gear failed after one year and only useing it 6 times
Just had them installed, one of the jacks definitely has a problem in both directions, loud squeal/ grinding. Hopefully it will be an easy resolve, motor swap?

That is not normal for the jacks to do. We will be in contact with you to see about replacing the jack. You will receive an email from us.
I have a 2013 Heartland Toyhauler, weight about 12,000 pounds, we added large solar panels on the roof thus have a large battery bank running across the front, adding an extra weight at 800 pounds. The factory 6000 pound jacks where having a difficult time lifting the trailer off the hitch, straining. These new jacks motor on each leg, no problems lifting, there rated at twice the load rating at 12,000 pounds. We removed the front cover section on the front of the 5th wheel in order to gain access to the jack locations. The Jacks fitted right in where the old ones went. I made up a small box to mount the two switches, with an long cord, that connect and sits in the side lockable basement storage. So no outside switches, added security, there no way to move the jacks, unless you unlock the side basement compartment, plus i added a master shut off switch so there's is no accidental activations. I going to be building a custom enclosed trailer this year, and i be using these jack, for sure.

Great Jacks easy install all parts needed came with it.
Upgraded my 2008 Weekend Warrior LED 3505 to the Ultra-Fab and couldn't be happier! The original Venture landing gear was complete garbage and has failed 3 times now. The Ultra Fab landing gear lifts much faster and sounds better. Another positive thing is the storage space I gained over the generator from removing original erector set. Ultra-Fab landing gear is much more robust compared to the original. I'm completely pleased with etrailer.com and their awesome service. I've talked a friend of mine into upgrading his garbage gear to the Ultra-Fab from etrailer. It was a bit of work to install, but my only regret is that I didn't do it sooner. Thanks, etrailer!

Still going strong, so glad I upgraded so much better than the original system.
They work so well, wished I done this sooner. Wondered enough times if the old jacks would lift one more time.
Great product!! Easy to install.
In my opinion these are a must have for a 5th wheel camper. Work great bolted right into mine no mods
Makes it easy to level 5th wheel with the Level-Mate Pro.
Replaced a single motor, dual landing gear for these. They work flawlessly and we’re simple enough to install. The set with 1 motor was underpowered and would not lift the 5th wheel toy hauler. These power it up with no issues.
I bought this item and had a welder weld up brackets
Installed (wired up motors ) and one did not work .. called company they gave me phone number of manafacture and I called .. got tech on phone ... had motor in 3 days and just now wired up and is working fine ... they seem a little slow but I have a 36’ goose neck with a lot of weight up front with living quarters and etc I’m happy with them and would recommend them

Jack are working fine ... have had no problems with them ... they are a life saver at my age
This ultra fab product replaced two bull dog products that were aweful. They have performed flawlessly! I would recommend them to any of my friends.
These jacks work great like others have said they are slow but have a lot of torque
I LOVE that there will no longer be a bar connecting the two jacks. It would have to be removed in order to service my generator. These new jacks are faster than what I replaced. The quality appears to be top notch. The notches on the jacks didn't line up the same as my old jacks. In fact the bottom ones got in the way of the bracket on the trailer. I made some modifications. I pounded the bottom notches back in (I shaved the edges with a grinder so it wouldn't get all mashed up). I spot welded the included new brackets in the location of the old jack notches so that the jacks would be mounted securely between the two brackets. Everything works great. I mounted the switches in the propane compartment so they are somewhat hidden. I also had to cut off a piece of the tube used for the old external manual jack lift that was in the way of the motor. In all it took longer than I thought it would but It's nice to take your time and do it right.
These are a lot stronger than the stock landing gears and far quieter.
I have owned these Jack's for a year. I installed them on.my 2010 Raptor. Install was easy just take you time. They work great. Really happy with my purchase.
I purchased this product to replace the landing gear that had failed on my 5th wheel. I called around to a few other dealers and they were not very helpful. Ricky S. at e trailer was able to give me the product specs. that I needed and took my order that day.
My product arrived one day earlier than expected.
I installed the new landing gear myself and I must say that if you are a mechanical novice don't attempt yourself. This of course depends on your coach design. Mine is a toy hauler and the passenger side jack is right next to the generator. It was a challenge to get the old jack out and the new one end. However with that being said the new landing gear works as advertised and I am happy that I used e trailer to make these needed repairs.
Much better than my original landing gear on my 2007 Cyclone that I had to fix several times and got tired of fixing... bad design on the original.
