Longview Custom Towing Mirrors Installation - 2008 Chevrolet Silverado

Speaker 1: Today on our 2008 Chevy Silverado, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install the long view custom towing mirrors, part number CTM1600. Here at the back of the trailer, you can see we have plenty of visibility in our factory mirror, but if we step outside, we lose that visibility but gain it in our towing mirror. Now, this is gonna help you when passing and parking. They're gonna give you full adjustability to give you the proper view. You got up and down, side to side, and diagonal.They're gonna fit around your factory mirror housing, and it won't interfere with the mobility of the factory mirror. It also is gonna allow you to fold your mirrors in when parking in a tight space.



CIPA Custom Towing Mirrors Installation - 2008 Chevrolet Silverado

Today on our 2008 Chevrolet Silverado we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the CIPA Custom Towing Mirrors, and that's going to include the driver and passenger side, part number CM10900. Now if you only need the driver side you can use part number 10901. If you only need the passenger side you can use part number 10902. So here I am at the back of my trailer, and you can clearly see me in the factory mirror, but you lose track of me if I step to the side. Now that's where our towing mirrors are going to come into play. Whether we're driving down the highway and we need to change lanes, back our trailer up, or even pull up to the camp ground this is going to give us an accurate, more safe view of what's next to us. So here's what our towing mirror looks like when it's fully installed.



K Source Universal Clip-On Towing Mirror Installation - 2008 Chevrolet Silverado

Today on our 2008 Chevrolet Silverado, we'll be doing a test fit on the K Source Universal clip-on towing mirror. That's part number KS3891. It offers us a wide field of view. It's going to allow us to safely and easily change lanes, pass, park or even back up while towing a trailer. As you can see, I'm visible in the towing mirror but not the factory mirror. But take a few steps in towards my trailer, you can see that there was no blind spot. This is the view you get with just your factory mirror. The mirror itself can be adjusted to most angles.



K-Source Custom Extendable Towing Mirrors Installation - 2013 Chevrolet Silverado

Today in our 2013 Chevrolet Silverado we're going to take a look at and also show you how to install the K-Source custom extendable towing mirrors. These are for manual mirror applications and take care of the driver and passenger side. Part number is KS62077-78G. Now here's what our full replacement towing mirrors are going to look like installed. As you can see, we have the added benefit of a much larger mirror, plus we've got our spotter mirror here on the bottom, which it's going to be really really nice when it comes to towing. These are geared more towards your everyday towing situation or somebody that would do towing and hauling, either on a very regular basis or somebody that goes out camping a lot. These are going to prevent us from having to take off and put on our towing mirrors every time we want to go.

Today on our 2012 Chevrolet Silverado we'll be doing a test fit on a CIPA dual view clipon towing mirror, part number 11953. It offers us a wide field of view. It's going to allow us to safely and easily change lanes, pass, park, or even backup while towing a trailer. As you can see, I'm visible in the towing mirror but not the factory mirror. Between both mirrors you get a slightly clearer, closer view in the larger mirror. I'll take a few steps in towards my trailer. This is the view you get with just your factory mirror. Both the larger and the smaller mirror can be adjusted to most angles.

Today on our 2012 Chevrolet Silverado we'll be doing a test fit on the CIPA clipon towing mirror, part number 7070. It offers us a wide field of view. It's going to allow us to safely and easily change lanes, pass, park, or even backup while towing a trailer. As you can see, I'm visible in the towing mirror, but not the factory mirror. If I take a few steps in towards my trailer as you can see there's no blind spot by the way we have it setup. This is the view you get with just your factory mirror. The mirror itself can be rotated 360 degrees and can be adjusted to most angles. We've got our up and down, side-to-side, and even diagonal.

Today on our 2013 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 regular cab, we'll be doing a test putting the Wheel Master's, Eagle Vision, door mount towing mirror. Part number WN6600. It offers us a wide field of view. It's going to allow us to safely and easily change lanes, pass, park, or even back up while towing a trailer. As you can see, I'm visible in the towing mirror, but not the factory mirror. If I take a few steps in towards my trailer, this is the view you'd get with just your factory mirror. The seven inch by seven inch mirror can be rotated to the left or right, and can be adjusted to most angles.

Between the two mirrors, larger and the smaller one, you get a slightly larger more clearer view in the larger mirror than the smaller one. If I take a few steps in towards my trailer, this is the view you'd get with just your factory mirror. Both the smaller and the larger mirror can be adjusted to most angles.

The towing mirror is going to contour our factory mirror nicely. It's going to make it look like it's all one piece.



CIPA Custom Towing Mirrors Installation - 2013 Chevrolet Silverado

Today on our 2013 Chevrolet Silverado we're going to be taking a look at and installing the Cipa Custom Towing Mirrors Slip-Ons for the driver and passenger side, part number CM10900. These mirrors are designed to extend your field of vision and block out any blind spots that you might have while you're pulling your trailer. These mirrors are made out of a durable ABS plastic and they fit over your factory mirror, and they're designed not to interfere with the factory operation, and it has a manual outside mirror that you can change so you can see around the end of your trailer. It has a textured finish that's going to be just like your factory mirror and you can still fold your mirrors in with them attached. These mirrors feature an easy, tool free install, they just slip over your factory mirror. We're going to start with our driver's side mirror, the left side. The kit does come with two pieces of foam tape, one is square, one has got the corners knocked off. Before you put the tape on, you want to take a little bit of rubbing alcohol and clean the area it's going to fit in. The other one's going to fit right here so we'll clean that off at the same time.



Cipa Slip On Custom Towing Mirrors Review - 2014 Chevrolet Silverado

Today on our 2014 Chevrolet Silverado we're going to be doing a test fit of the Cipa custom auto towing mirrors. Part number is CM10950. Now this is going to be for both the driver and the passenger side. It's available as just the driver side - part number on that is CM10951 - and as just the passenger side as part number CM10952. As you can see, our custom towing mirrors made out of an ABS plastic. They're going to be durable and long lasting. They're custom designed for your vehicle.



CIPA Custom Towing Mirrors Installation - 2001 Chevrolet Silverado

Today on our 2001 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD Crew Cab, we're going to be doing a quick installation of the CIPA Custom Towing Mirrors, part number CM10880. Now this part number is for both the driver and the passenger's side. If you don't need a complete kit, these are also sold individually. For the passenger's side, that's part number CM10802 and for the driver's side it will be part number CM10801. Now to begin with, we've already gone ahead and installed the passenger's side mirror so you can see what it looks like. Now, we still have full function of our factory mirror because out here is our towing mirror, this is a manual mirror so you will need to move it by hand. Just simply slides over the top of your factory mirror.



K-Source Custom Towing Mirrors Installation - 2010 Chevrolet Silverado

Today on this 2010 Chevrolet Silverado Extended Cap 2500 HD, we're going to install part number KS80900. This is a K-source custom towing mirrors that snap on. Now this part number does cover the driver and passenger sides so you get 1 of each. We already have it installed on our passenger side mirror, you can see how it looks. It grips the mirror in 3 places on the top edge of the factory mirror truck and also along the bottom. Here's our towing mirror itself, it's on a ball socket so you can move around in any direction you want.



CIPA Custom Towing Mirrors Installation - 2010 Chevrolet Silverado

Male: Today on a 2010 Chevrolet Silverado Extended Cab 2500 Series HD, we're going to install the CIPA Custom Towing Mirrors that slip on, part number 10901. That is for the driver's side. Now, there's also a part number, 10902, CIPA Customer Towing Mirror for a passenger side. Looking at our passenger side when it's already installed, you can see how it wraps around the factory mirror. Look at the other side. You see that there's a simple knob that holds everything in place. All right.



CIPA Custom Towing Mirrors Installation - 2009 Chevrolet Silverado

Today on our 2009 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Regular Cab we're going to be doing a test fit of the CIPA Custom Towing Mirrors in a slip on design for both the driver and the passenger side, part number CM10900. The CIPA custom towing mirrors are available to be purchased individually as well. For the driver side it's part number 10901. For the passenger side it's part number 10902. If your factory mirror looks like this, then this CIPA Custom Towing Mirror is correct for you. Before we install our mirror on our factory mirror it's a good idea to clean and dirt and debris off of the back side of the mirror that may be present. This will help keep the factory mirror from getting scratches on it from dirt rubbing between the factory mirror and the CIPA custom towing mirror.
