Will K-Source Extendable Towing Mirrors Extend Further Than Factory Accordion Mirrors

Question:
Do they extend farther than the according style? I have a 2004 chevy 1500, extended cab with 6.5 bed. My blind spot is huge.

Expert Reply:
Hi Jon! The K-Source Custom Extendable Towing Mirrors # KS62075-76G won't extend any farther than the factory accordion-style mirrors on your 2004 Chevy Silverado 1500. Both extend to about 22" from the truck, see the attached photo.
However, the K-Source mirrors have a much larger 12" x 7-3/4" dual-mirror face with a built-in spotter mirror, which should give you considerably better blind-spot visibility than the accordion-style mirrors.
