Hi, I'm Steven with etrailer.com. Thank you for joining me today. Today, we're gonna take a look at the bearing kit for 6,000 pound axles, part number BK3-100. Now, this kit's gonna include everything shown here on the table. It includes the inner bearing and the race, the outer bearing and the race, and it also includes the double-lip grease seal, and cotter pin. Now, the bearings they use in this kit are made from a high quality tapered roller bearing design, and it's gonna be ready for high-speed use.
The grease seal is a double-lip seal, which is gonna retain grease a lot better inside the hub and give you better protection against moisture, road grime, that kind of stuff versus your single-lip seals. And this seal does have an overall diameter of 3.376 and an inside diameter of 2.250. Now, it's gonna include your inner bearing, part number, 25580, and the matching inner race, 25520. It's also gonna include the outer bearing, part number, 15123, along with the matching outer race, part number, 15245. And like I said, it's gonna include the cotter pin and the matching seal, part number, 10-36.

Bearing 15123 outer roller retainer bent. Usable but should be better. Not impressed that bearings are in envelope with no protection. Individual boxing and bubble wrap highly recommended.

Aariah was great to work with she took her time and found the bearing kits I needed to complete my boat trailer repair. Parts arrived quickly. Thank you Aariah and etrailer for getting me back to the lake.
Ran well all year on the boat trailer. Seals let a small amount of water through (slightly emulsified grease), but running Redi-sleeves from National over the worn spindles this season, so hoping that improves.
etrailer is my go to for RV parts and accessories. Wheel bearings are a point of failure so I always replace and keep a spare set on hand for emergencies. These are perfect set with everything included to do the job minus the grease.
Correct for my 6K Dexter axles and bearings have performed perfectly. Seals performed the same as more expensive name brands (Timken and Dexter), so I run these now. I did find addition of Redi-sleeves from National (mfg part 99225 BCA) to provide basically new surface for the seals, and will monitor seal performance. These slip over my worn and pitted spindles, but have to be cut or ground back to allow bearings to seat properly on the spindle shoulder.
