Hey Scott! The correct bearing kit for your Dexter 6k axle is the Bearing Kit, 15123/ 25580 Bearings, 10-36 Seal # BK3-100. If you want the Dexter version it is the # DX26ER.

What kind of trailer do you have?

I swapped mine out back in March 2024 for both axles. Bearing Kit, 15123/ 25580 Bearings, 10-36 Seal BK3-100 Worked great great product. Check if you have the castle nut or the tang nut. If tang make certain you get new tang spindle washers as the old ones will be trashed. Replacement Spindle Washer - Tang Type 5-101 I switched to a castle nut and cotter pin and VERY glad I did. So much superior in every way. Look at the brakes at the same time since you have it apart.

This is the bearing kit I need, but I need the washer behind the castle nut as well. Where do I get that? Would a tang washer work even though mine uses a cotter pin?
