Question:

I have Curt Axle: CURT52-SBSA-86.5-68.5-NOSP-OS-L-C65517-ABS-7225-BRONZE-30PT on my 2025 Grand Design Reflection150 270BN On the label it shows capacity as 4400lbs Someone asked about the identical axle feb2025 and the axle kit recommended was BK3-100. The nomenclature for BK3-100 is for a 6000lb axle this has outer bearing race die = 2.441 I looked at BK3-300 and it is for a 5200lb axle this has outer bearing race of 2.328 Inner bearing and seals are the same between both kits. I measured OD of dust cap and it was ~ 2.41

Hey Jay. I checked with Grand Design and your Curt 4,400 lbs axles have higher capacity C65517 hubs on them. The Bearing Kit item # BK3-100 is going to be the correct one. The outer bearing race included with this kit has a 2.441" outer diameter.

The Bearing Kit item # BK3-100 includes both the inner and outer bearings and races, along with a 10-36 grease seal, and a new cotter pin. It's sold individually so you'll need one per hub.

Are you doing some maintenance on your trailer or just wanting to keep a set of spare bearings around incase of emergencies?

The BK3-100 kits worked great for my tandem equipment hauling trailer. Installation was easy and absolutely no issues. I will buy all future trailer needs from etrailer!
