Optronics STL22 Series Miro-Flex Oval Sealed Tail Light Diagram

Sonically Sealed, Waterproof Trailer Light

The waterproof construction of this light makes it ideal for use on trailers that may be submerged, like a boat trailer. The housing and lens are sonically sealed together to create a single unit, which means that water will not get into the light and damage the diodes or circuit board.

Recessed-Mount Light

Recessed mount light

Recessed-mount trailer lights install underneath a grommet (A70GB - sold separately). These lights will extend into the mounting surface and require that a hole be cut into your trailer.

These lights were an exact replacement for the original incandescent lights in my car trailer. They are very bright, and traffic behind me actually pays attention when I turn my signal on now. They are a much needed improvement over stock. Juanita was also very helpful in verifying that I had the right connector for them. Very prompt shipping too, as I had them in 3 days after I ordered them. 157319

I needed a replacement left tail / stop light combination for my trailer. After loosing the operation of one of the two lights which left me vulnerable to a possible accident or ticket violation during the last long trip I was on, I chose the STL22RB LED above for lasting durability (usually found in LED's) and quicker response time in operation over incandescence lamp fixtures that were originally installed on my 2015 Big Tex Trailer. I have been adding extra LED marker light fixtures to my black Big Tex over the last year to make it more visible during night time operation and easier to operate in motion at night. The both fixtures were easily changed and work flawlessly. 554144

Sirs: I have a ten-foot enclosed motorcycle trailer that I purchased new in 2010. Recently, I noticed the existing taillights were working -- but were far from being safe. I assumed that I had a wiring problem and that I might have to take the trailer somewhere and have the wiring harness checked and/or replaced. Fortunately, I looked at several of the videos on your web site and decided that I would replace the existing taillights before committing to a re-wire job. I ordered a pair of STL22RB 12 diode trailer lights and a pair of a70gb gaskets. These items arrived in the mail yesterday, and I installed them this morning. Problem solved! The new LED lights work quite well, and the installation took less than five minutes. I have some light bulbs in the house that take longer to replace than did these taillights. Thanks, guys, the videos that I looked at on the etrailer.com web site convinced me that I could do the job simply, quickly, and safely. Piece of cake!!! Now, I may change out all the old marker lights with new LED lights. Thanks, again. Lou C. 249893

Ask the Experts about this Optronics Trailer Lights

  • Is Trailer Light STL22RB Replacement for PM 421 Light on Trailer
Yes, the connection on the Micro-Flex Trailer Tail Light - Stop, Tail, Turn - LED light, part # STL22RB, is compatible with the PM 421 lights that you currently have on your Silver Star horse trailer. You will not need a new pigtail since it uses the same pigtail. However if you do need to replace a pigtail we have the 90 degree option, part # A47PB, and the regular option, part # A45PB. We also carry a replacement grommet if you need that as well, this would be part # A70GB but if yours...

  • Replacement Tail Light for Utility Trailer With Command Electronics 003-5400
The Command 003-5400 light doesn't give me specific dimensions. Base on some research it appears the Optronics # STL72RB may be a replacement option. I've attached the measurements for this light to assist. The Optronics # STL22RB is a similar light with overall dimensions of 6-1/2" long x 2-5/16" tall x 2-1/4" thick. This light uses grommet # A70GB for flush mount as well so even though they are different they mount in the same way. If you can give me dimensions and a photo of the...

  • Replacement Tail Light for Triton 88ATV Trailer
The Miro-Flex LED Trailer Tail Light part # STL22RB is a recessed mount tail light that mounts in an oval hole about 6-1/2" long x 2-5/16" tall using the PVC Grommet part # A70GB. I took a look at your Triton 88ATV Trailer online and this appears to be exactly what you have now so it should work just fine but if you take a quick measurement of the opening you would be able to confirm this for yourself. The oval tail lights are fairly standard in regards to size.

If you were flush mounting the lamp using a grommet, you'd need part # A70GB. You would also need the wiring pigtail, part # A45PB. The # STL22RB you mentioned would also be an acceptable replacement that would use the same grommet and pigtail, but the lamp features two more LEDs, so it would be a bit brighter.

Most of our LED lights use a pigtail with 3 wires # A47PB with the red being turn signal and brake, the black for tail/running light, and the white for ground.
