Optronics STL22 Series Miro-Flex Oval Sealed Tail Light Diagram

Sonically Sealed, Waterproof Trailer Light

The waterproof construction of this light makes it ideal for use on trailers that may be submerged, like a boat trailer. The housing and lens are sonically sealed together to create a single unit, which means that water will not get into the light and damage the diodes or circuit board.

Recessed-Mount Light

Recessed mount light

Recessed-mount trailer lights install underneath a grommet (A70GB - sold separately). These lights will extend into the mounting surface and require that a hole be cut into your trailer.

I needed a replacement left tail / stop light combination for my trailer. After loosing the operation of one of the two lights which left me vulnerable to a possible accident or ticket violation during the last long trip I was on, I chose the STL22RB LED above for lasting durability (usually found in LED's) and quicker response time in operation over incandescence lamp fixtures that were originally installed on my 2015 Big Tex Trailer. I have been adding extra LED marker light fixtures to my black Big Tex over the last year to make it more visible during night time operation and easier to operate in motion at night. The both fixtures were easily changed and work flawlessly. 554144

  • Replacement Tail Light for Utility Trailer With Command Electronics 003-5400
The Command 003-5400 light doesn't give me specific dimensions. Base on some research it appears the Optronics # STL72RB may be a replacement option. I've attached the measurements for this light to assist. The Optronics # STL22RB is a similar light with overall dimensions of 6-1/2" long x 2-5/16" tall x 2-1/4" thick. This light uses grommet # A70GB for flush mount as well so even though they are different they mount in the same way. If you can give me dimensions and a photo of the...

  • Replacement Tail Light for Triton 88ATV Trailer
The Miro-Flex LED Trailer Tail Light part # STL22RB is a recessed mount tail light that mounts in an oval hole about 6-1/2" long x 2-5/16" tall using the PVC Grommet part # A70GB. I took a look at your Triton 88ATV Trailer online and this appears to be exactly what you have now so it should work just fine but if you take a quick measurement of the opening you would be able to confirm this for yourself. The oval tail lights are fairly standard in regards to size.

  • How To Install LED Trailer Tail Lights On a Side by Side
The Miro-Flex LED Trailer Tail Light part # STL22RB as an example is designed for use on trailers therefore the stop and turn signals are combined which is the case for almost all of our trailer lights. Therefore, in order to use this tail light on a vehicle/trailer or in your case an ATV, you must have combined wiring which simply means the stop and turn signals are on the same circuit. If your wiring is separate then the only option to use a trailer tail light is with a converter, the...

  • Replacement LED-Type Trailer Taillight for Force Open ATV Utility Trailer
In my research the reference number J2024 did not return any results for a trailer light so I suspect this was an SAE number on the lens. A light's actual manufacturer's part number will usually appear on one side of the light's base portion, rather than on the lens. If you can find such a number printed on the base you can try searching on that, or you can simply use the link provided. The linked page displays all LED-type trailer tail lights. • Replacement LED Stop/Turn/Taillight for Peterson 421 Lamp on Boat Trailer
We carry a small selection of Peterson taillights, but the majority of what we carry is from Optronics. Optronics makes an equivalent LED lamp, part # STL72RB. If you were flush mounting the lamp using a grommet, you'd need part # A70GB. You would also need the wiring pigtail, part # A45PB. The # STL22RB you mentioned would also be an acceptable replacement that would use the same grommet and pigtail, but the lamp features two more LEDs, so it would be a bit brighter.

  • Troubleshooting New Trailer Lights That Flash Both Side Taillights when Turn Signal is Activated
First, I recommend testing the trailer connector at the rear of the truck to ensure that the wiring on the truck is functioning properly. You can use a circuit tester like # 40376 to test the pins at the connector, while a buddy in the cab of the truck runs through the functions of the connector. If the wiring on the truck is not working properly, you will want to take the truck back to the shop to installed it. If the truck wiring checks out properly, then we know the issue is on the...

  • Center Marker Light on Boat Trailer is Not Lighting Up
If you are using light # STL22RB check the back of it to see the functions of each of the connectors. You would use a harness like # A45PB to plug into the back. The white wire is ground, black is running lights, and red would be brake light/turn signal which would not be used for your application. A diode isn't needed. I think the issue is a bad ground connection which is more common on boat trailers with aluminum frames. Routing the ground wire to the main trailer connector ground...

  • What is the White Wire of a Trailer Taillight Wiring Harness For
The white wires of your trailer lights are the ground wires. It sounds like your previous trailer lights grounded through the mounting hardware so because of that you would need to run the white wire of the new assemblies to either a clean metal surface that touches the trailer frame or back to the main ground for the trailer's wiring. The green would be right stop/turn and the yellow would be left stop turn. The brown is taillights.

  • Installation of LED Trailer Tail Lights with 4 Wires
Without knowing exactly what lights you have, it is difficult to help based on color. Most of our LED lights use a pigtail with 3 wires # A47PB with the red being turn signal and brake, the black for tail/running light, and the white for ground. The only way to tell your unique light function is to connect the ground which I would assume is the white wire, and then test the other functions with 12V power. Then you will match the functions versus the colors. Because you have an extra...
