This Thinline LED light puts out a clean amber glow using 3 diodes that draw only 0.051 amps at 12.8V. The LEDs last up to 50 times longer than old incandescent bulbs and use far less power. That means crisp visibility with minimal strain on your electrical system and no fragile filaments to worry about breaking.
If your trailer sees wet roads or water ramps, this light is built to handle it. The housing and lens are sonically sealed into a single waterproof unit that keeps moisture, dirt, and corrosion out. Even when submerged, it stays watertight and protects the internal circuit board so your light keeps shining.
You’ll get wide visibility thanks to its PC rating that casts light 90 degrees in each direction from center for a total of 180 degrees of coverage. When properly mounted, it works as both a clearance and side marker light so others can clearly see your trailer from the front or side—ideal for staying visible in traffic or low-light conditions.
The rectangular 2-1/2" x 1-3/16" x 7/8" design gives you mounting flexibility. It accepts industry-standard plugs and can be surface mounted with an open-back or self-grounding bracket, or recessed with a grommet—each sold separately. Whether you’re replacing old lights or building from scratch, it’s easy to mount securely in the setup you prefer.
Made with a tough polycarbonate lens and housing, this light can take on rough use without cracking or fading. Its been a year of having these lights on my cargo trailer and Im still loving them. Nice and bright to warn other drivers either in front of me or in back of me the width of my trailer coming down the road. I run them day and night and 99 of all drivers coming head on at me I see they pull over just a little to widen the gap between us as we pass each other. I have a cargo trailer with fenders mounter outside the trailer with a little black plastic rubbery housing that holds the lights. I put the amber light facing forward and the red light facing backwards. Just take the black housing off the fender then pull out the old and install then new. Was a good time to clean up the ground wire connection while I was there too. Took 10 minutes or so per side. Theyre awesome. Getchya some here at etrailer.

After a year and around 2500 miles, the lights continue to perform flawlessly. It was a good decision to convert to LEDs and I will not wait as long should there be a next time.
