great.

pins are loose fit, and move around when and attempt is made to insert them. had to make numerous attempts at getting the pins in just the right position to make them mate to the socket.

quality plug and wire insulation. Once installed, they seem tight and secure with good electrical contact.

I have installed several of these. They were ALWAYS a very snug fit, and sometimes slightly misaligned, which made them a little difficult to install the first time. I NEVER had one with loose pins. Loose pins? First time for everything, I guess!

Thanks for the comment! Sometimes there can be some wiggle room on the contacts, but typically on the light side. As long as the connections are good and solid, everything will function properly.

  • Replacement LED Trailer Lights for a 2000 Ranger R71 Boat Trailer
I would love to help you upgrade to LED lights on your trailer but unfortunately, trailer manufacturers don't just give us a list with every light on the trailer for situations like this. If you can provide me with your full 17 digit VIN I would be more than glad to call on your behalf and see if we have the correct replacements for you.

  • Replacement Tail Light For Forest River Georgetown XL RV
I'd be happy to assist you. It sounds like you need the Sealed, Flush Mount Tall Rectangle LED Trailer Stop, Turn and Tail Light, Grommet and Plug, 12 Diode # STL34RB but most of the pictures I see have round tail lights like the Sealed, 4" Round, LED Stop/Turn/Tail light, 21 Diode - Red # STL55RB. If this is not the correct part, then send me a photo with the measurements of the light and we will get you what you need. The numbers and letters that are actually printed on the light are...

  • Installation of Optronics Sealed, 6-1/2 Inch Oval LED Trailer Stop, Turn, and Tail Light
Thank you for your purchase from etrailer.com! The Optronics Sealed, 6-1/2 Inch Oval LED Trailer Stop, Turn, and Taillight # STL78RB that you purchased will need to be hardwire installed on your trailer. You will want to connect the light to your trailer's wiring by function. You can use a circuit tester, like # PTW2993, to determine the functions of your trailer wiring. The white wire on the light will need to be grounded. I recommend running the light ground back to the main trailer...

  • What is the Difference Between the Fusion LED Trailer Light STL211RB and the Optronics STL211XRB?
There's nothing different except for the part numbers. The Fusion LED Trailer Tail Light item # STL211RB replaced the Optronics STL211XRB. It's still made by Optronics. This LED light is submersible and has stop, tail, turn, and backup functions. The Fusion item # STL211RB can be installed using the wire pigtail, item # A47PB for right angle or item # A45PB for straight. You can use the PVC Grommet for 6-1/2" Oval Trailer Tail Lights item # a70gb to mount it. What kind of trailer are...

  • What Do Trailer Taillight Colors White, Red, and Black Mean
You are correct the white wire is the ground circuit, the red wire is the stop/turn circuit and the black is the running light. This is the industry standard for trailer lighting colors like what comes with the harness part # A45PB.

  • GloLight LED Tail Light Compatibility with 2018 Coachmen Clipper ST108
The GloLight LED Trailer Tail Light - Stop, Tail, Turn - Submersible - 22 Diodes - Oval - Red Lens # STL178RFPB is most likely a fit for your 2018 Coachmen Clipper ST108. The best way to confirm fit is to check the mounting hole locations. The mounting holes are 7 inches on center and 2-11/16 inches on center. I've attached a photo to assist. Then you can use the Snap-on Reflector Ring for STL78RB Series LED Lights - Red # A78RXB or the chrome ring # A78CB.

  • How to Connect the # STL42RB Tail Lights to a 1958 Trailer with 2 Wire Lighting System
The 4 inch Round Sealed LED Stop, Turn or Tail Light, item # STL42RB, uses a 3 wire pig tail, item # A47PB or # A45PB, to connect to your existing trailer wiring. The plug on the pigtail plugs into the back of the tail light and is then hard wired to your trailer wiring. It sounds as if your original tail lights were grounded to the trailer frame through their mounting studs, so a third wire was not needed. When connecting the 3 wires from the 3 wire pig tail, you will ground the white...

  • What is the Candela Output of Optronics 6-1/2 Inch Incandescent and LED Tail Lights?
I do recommend you move to LED lights as they are going to last much longer than the incandescent lights on your horse trailer. As far as light output, Optronics generally measures their lights in candelas instead of lumens though at a distance of 1 foot candela is equal to lumens so you should have a good idea of how bright the lights are. I contacted Optronics and the representative was able to give me the candelas of each of the lights you were asking about. The incandescent # BU70CB...

  • Wiring Scheme for Optronics Stop-Tail-Turn-Backup Trailer Tail Light # STL211RB
The Optronics Stop-Tail-Turn-Backup Trailer Tail Light # STL211RB that you referenced does indeed use either two 3-wire pigtail leads # A47PB (right angle) or # A45PB (straight) for connection or one of these can be substituted with # A45CB which is a two-wire plug. The linked photo shows you the single pin that carries the reverse signal according to my contact at Optronics. Please refer to the linked video for more information.

  • Will the ST70RB and the STL72RB Both Fit on the Same Sized Light Housing?
To answer your question, both of the # ST70RB and the # STL72RB are 6-1/2" long x 2-1/4" wide x 2-3/8" deep lights; the main difference is that one is an LED light while the other is an incandescent. I was able to find some information on your TruckLite 60283 light and the best match to replace that light is the # ST70RB , since your trailer light system is wired for incandescent lights. If you wanted to switch both lights over to LED, you would use # STL72RB but you would likely need...

Though you will need to have a 4 Flat on your 2001 VW Eurovan, and for this I do recommend the Curt # C56175, adding lights to your Kuat NV 2.0 is definitely a good idea. I went through all our options for adding lights to a bike rack or cargo trailer, and the Curt Auxiliary LED Indicator Lights # C53201 will be the good option, but there is a potential issue. The converter you can use is # RM-732. This takes the separate turn and brake signals and makes them a combined circuit. When you hit the brakes with the turn signal on, it should blink on one side and the other side will remain a solid brake light. The converter will...

These taillights are sealed, therefore, you need to change the entire assembly, not just the bulbs inside.
