This LED fender clearance light takes care of visibility from either end of your trailer. The amber side faces forward while the red side faces the rear, making it easy for others to see you coming or going. The reversible assembly lets you mount it on either the driver or passenger side—just pop it out of the bracket and flip it around. With 2 bright LEDs that draw only 0.033 amps at 12.8V, you get maximum light with minimal power use.
If your trailer ever sees wet roads or a boat ramp, this light can handle it. The lens and housing are sonically sealed into a single waterproof unit that keeps moisture out and protects the diodes and circuit board from damage. You won’t have to worry about water sneaking in or corrosion ruining your connections over time—this light is built to stay dry inside even when submerged.
Mounting this light is straightforward thanks to its black ABS plastic bracket and 2-wire pigtail design. It attaches directly to the fender surface using standard mounting holes spaced 1" apart (hardware not included). The black wire is for power, and the white wire is for ground, making wiring simple and intuitive. At 8-1/2" long by 1-11/16" tall by 13/16" deep, it fits neatly without sticking out or catching anything along the fender edge.
With solid-state LEDs inside, there are no filaments to break or bulbs to swap out. These LEDs last up to 50 times longer than traditional incandescent ones, while producing brighter light with less energy draw. That means less time spent maintaining and more time enjoying reliable performance trip after trip.
The polycarbonate lenses and housings resist impact and UV damage while staying clear and strong over time. Combined with a durable ABS mounting base, this light is ready for everyday towing, hauling, or marine use without cracking or fading. We needed something that could light the interior of the concession trailer while the generator was not running. So we installed this light inside to run off the trailer lights hook up. Provides plenty of light for clean up. Perfect fit for my application. Easy install.

Took Friday off in order to work and repair my trailer and use it On weekend travels and remote work
But the lights were delivered on Monday the 21 st so no good

I have as set of these lights on a enclosed trailer and I thought they would work great on a motorcycle trailed I was building. I think I was right......

Worked as it should. Length was easily cut to required length. I would by again.
Only reason for not giving 5 stars is the length of the wires need to be longer. They just barley get inside the trailer wall, makes connections difficult. 2-3 inches more wire and they would be perfect. Great lights though, very bright. I used these to replace my old lights that grounded thru the light mount itself. Northeast road salt corroded them to dust, these lights have a dedicated ground wire which I attached inside the trailer so salt can't corrode it. The light itself is sealed and the mounts are plastic so they should last a long time. I put tape underneath the fender and epoxied the old mount holes shut for those of you wondering.
Stem is longer than mine but it appears the 2 sets of holes line up fine. Just need to remove a few inches of casing length I don't need. It maybe universal but looks like it will be an exact replacement after reducing stem length. Fast ship reasonable price. Excellent service and follow up

I hear you on wishing the wires were longer, Dave. It has been a fairly common comment we get on this light. Hopefully Optronics will extend them some day. That said, they look great on your trailer! Is it vintage one, by chance? Don't see that color very often.
Works as it should, good replacement for the original.
My one star rating is for how insanely long it took to get my light. It traveled west from the middle of the country and then over to New York where I live. This day an age it should not have taken that long. Luckily it’s not an emergency or anything but etrailer needs to use a better shipping company.
The LED fender clearance lights were exactly as described. At this point I have only installed one but installation was a breeze. Light looks better than original one installed from factory.
You cannot beat buying items from etrailer as their information and installation tips are top notch.
