It bolted right on trailer and works/cranks easily. Nice it's greaseable as my trailer lives outside.

by:

Great Jack. Works flawlessly. They shipped my order very rapidly the Jack was spot on in the decryption.

by:

I modified spare tire location (needed more tongue weight), so replaced top mount crank jack with side wind version. Shipping speed was upgraded sans asking and received item just before my next trip. Installed in 5 minutes and jack is much more ergonomic than original. Whenever I need anything trailer or pick up truck related, I don't even bother shopping around, for etrailer pretty much has everything! Customer service is outstanding even with returns or replacements. Completely satisfied with product and service.
Thanks for everything Etrailer

Still working fine. Smooth and easy operation. I seriously doubt that I’ll have any issues with the side wind trailer jack.

by:

Simple, strong, and reliable

by:

Work perfectly for the application we intended, as risers for a 30’ belt!

by:

Existing job site trailer jack broke Thursday. Menards, Home Depot, Northern tool, Mill didn't have the needed style in stock. Ordered it up and got here on Saturday. Perfect fit and higher weight rating than previous jack. Cranks smooth.

by:

Jack was good product

by:

This is a sturdy and easy to use manual jack. It is replacing a failed electric jack, and I am glad to have a manual jack of this high quality. It is the perfect size for my 3500 lb Rockwood Travel Trailer.

by:

Installed easy and has been working flawlessly. Had next day delivery.

by:

The TJA-5000S-B jack I ordered was exactly what I needed. It was easy to install. The photos show the old jack and the new jack that I needed so that I could mount 2 bikes on front of my Forrest River A-frame camping trailer.

by:

I've had this installed on my utility trailer for about a year now. It works great. I've had some pretty big loads in it and have had no issues raising and lowering it with this jack.

by:

Package came very quick. Went right on to my trailer. The foot that "matched" the jack I bought did not work. Had to run to a local store and get one that would.

by:

Great product

by:

Works as advertised. Definitely a great price on this jack.. I use it daily on a 20ft trailer.. lets see how long it last me..

by:

A long search for an American made jack led me to etrailer.com. Turns out the jack was made in China. Disappointed!!

We love to offer parts that are made in the USA. We do not offer a similar jack that is USA made however on any part that is, it will be listed on the product page as Made in USA.

by:

Product came on time, as advertised. Had a hard time believing the low price!! My old jack was so damaged I had to persuade it off with hammer and chisel, but then this jack went on in minutes. Functions smoothly. Couldn't be happier. etrailer has all my future trailer business. Five Stars.

by:

The replacement tongue jack fit perfectly (hole alignment) and the movement is back to the way the original jack worked when brand new. Haven't used it in its full range yet, but so far looks promising. Just a little concerned about the top cover of the jack which appears that it would let rain water into the gear box. I applied a quart size zip lock bag which should keep the rain out.

by:

Works as intended. I have it on a small 20ft camper that weighs about 4k Lbs. I recommend adding grease and an adjustable bottom with a quick release pin.

1 year later still working. No problems.

by:

Excellent service nothing but good thin gs

by:

Jack works fine, but arrived with several dings and chips in paint. I realize it will probably get that way eventually anyway, but would expect it to arrive looking new.

These jacks arrive to us in large pallets which unfortunately does mean they are not in the best shape. I am happy to have Customer Service contact you.

by:

Worked perfectly. Easy to weld up and strong as ever!

by:

Easy installation! Just three bolts and back in action...

by:

VERY PROMPT SERVICE

by:

I bought this for a basketball goal replacement and it worked out GREAT!! It raises the backboard with ease, and my 8 year old daughter loves it. It shipped out faster than I was expecting, and it arrived in just a few days. Awesome job towards Etrailer!!!!!!
I will definitely recommend Etrailer to anyone !!

by:

I love it. The side turn handle is great. I put the flip footer on it and it works great.

  • Does Gear Kit TJA-2000S-GR Include Keeper Ring
The replacement gear kit does not include the keeper ring; it is only the gears and pins; unfortunately the keeper ring is not available as a separate part for these jacks. So while I know it's not the news you were looking for, the best option we have is a replacement jack, either the 2,000 lb or 5,000 lb option: - Round A-Frame Trailer Jack - Sidewind - 15" Travel - 2,000 lbs # TJA-2000S-B - Round A-Frame Trailer Jack - Sidewind - 15-5/8" Travel - 5,000 lbs # TJA-5000S-B

  • Foot Plate and Caster Wheel for Use with etrailer Round A-Frame Jack # TJA-5000S-B
The etrailer Round A-Frame Jack # TJA-5000S-B that you referenced can indeed be used with foot plate # JF-99. If you need a caster wheel assembly, you can use # PS1400750340 from Pro Series. Please note that the caster wheel has a lower capacity (1200-lbs) than the jack (5000-lbs) and use of the caster will lower the jack's capacity to this 1200-lbs.

  • Replacement Manual A-Frame Trailer Jack for 2008 Keystone Cougar Toyhauler
We can help you with a manual trailer tongue jack to replace your electric jack. Thank you for the photo showing that your trailer uses a standard a-frame type jack mount. The linked page displays our range of bolt-on side-wind a-frame jacks. Filters on the page allow you to select features like a caster wheel or flat plate For example, part # TJA-5000S-B is a 5000-lb-rated jack with 15-5/8-inches of travel but without a foot plate or wheel. You could add a footplate with part # JF-99.

  • Replacement Jack for 2014 Legend Enclosed Trailer with A-Frame
It sounds like you likely have an A-Frame trailer, so you can use something like the etrailer Round, A-Frame Jack - Sidewind - 15" Lift - 5,000 lbs # TJA-5000S-B which will attach to the 3 mounting points on the trailer tongue and provide you with a jack with 15" of lift. This jack doesn't come with a foot so you'll also need the Footplate for 2,000-lb and 5,000-lb Round, A-Frame Jacks # JF-99, which is designed for that jack. If you're looking for an electric jack then something like...

  • Is There Set Angle Requirement for Shackle Straps of Trailer

  • Can the 30-800 Trailer Jack Be Rotated 120 Degrees So Grease Zerk is Accessible
Assuming the spacing between the three mounting bolts is equal, you can rotate the jack. 120 degrees, but keep in mind that the toolbox could interfere with the crank. If you used a grease gun with a flexible nozzle like # 30-800, you'd be able to access the zerk fitting without rotating the jack.

  • Replacement Jack for Atwood 81911 Trailer Coupler
The tongue weight capacity of your trailer coupler is not really needed when choosing a replacement tongue jack. The replacement tongue jack just needs to be rated for the tongue weight of the trailer which is around 10-15% of the total weight. That said, I see it says the max weight capacity that can be used for a trailer jack is 5,000 lbs so if you wanted to be covered without worrying about how much your trailer weighs exactly you can just go with the etrailer Round, A-Frame Jack part...

A-frame trailers like your 2010 Keystone Hideout 27bhs all use the same mounting flange bolt patterns. The etrailer jack part # TJA-5000S-B that you referenced is going to fit your trailer and work well as a replacement jack.

An A-frame trailer jack like # TJA-5000S-B can be position in any orientation. So the handle can be installed facing the rear if you'd like. Another solution that may work for you is a longer ball mount. We have the Brophy # EA40 which is 14-5/8 inches from the hitch pin hole to the ball hole. This will move the entire trailer back from the tailgate.

  • Replacement A-Frame Trailer Jack
Your best option is to replace the jack and drill 3 new holes into the trailer. A-frame jacks have a standard bolt pattern that's roughly 3 inches on center from hole to hole. Generally the holes on the jack are slotted to allow for slight variances in the measurement and different hole sizes. Our most popular electric A-frame jack is the Stromberg Carlson # SC63VR. It has stops to prevent overextending or retracting - which is the cause of failure on most jacks. If you prefer a manual...

For your trailer jack, I recommend Bulldog A-Frame Jack - 5,000 lbs - Top Wind # BD175000 which will be an easier installation than a sidewind option on your trailer based on the photos. If you prefer the sidewind style, it can absolutely still be used. For this, I recommend the Round A-Frame Trailer Jack - Sidewind - 15-5/8" Travel - 5,000 lbs # TJA-5000S-B. • Can A-Frame Trailer Jack be Removed and Side Frame Mounted Jack Installed
You can remove the A-Frame jack and install a frame-mounted jack on your trailer if you want to. It would not harm the trailer but if you wanted you could weld in some pipe in the old A-frame jack hole or cover it top and bottom with steel plates to ensure rigidity. I recommend a swivel jack, # PSEJ10000101, that can rotate out of the way when you tow the trailer. This jack bolts on up to 3x5 inch frames and has a 1,000 pound capacity. I have linked some videos on this jack for you.

  • Recommended Boat Winch, Trailer Jack, and Bunk Boards for 27 Foot Carver Boat and Trailer
For your 27 foot Carver boat, the weight you referenced will put us into only electric options. Typically for boats, there is a ratio of 2:1 on the capacity of the winch. Our Super Heavy Duty Hand Winches fall slightly below that ratio, so a nice electric winch will be your best option. I'd suggest we go a little bigger than that ratio to account for steeper inclines and other variables with the Bulldog Winch Trailer Winch with Wire Rope, # BDW15019. The etrailer A-Frame Jack, part # TJA-5000S-B has a mounting plate that can be welded or bolted to the trailer frame. If you are asking about the foot plate like part # JF-99, the foot plate is attached to the jack by slipping the footplate over the tube on the jack and inserting the included bolt on the footplate through the footplate frame and the holes in the leg of the jack. It is possible your jack may not be this model and has a footplate that cannot be removed.

  • Can an A-Frame Trailer Jack be Installed Using Screws and Nuts Instead of Bolts and Nuts
The preferred method of installing an A-Frame trailer jack such as # TJA-5000S-B is to use bolts, washers, and nuts because it is a lot easier to get enough torque on a bolt and nut than it is with a screw and nut. Is there something that is preventing you from using bolts? Do you have a surplus of 3/8" machine screws? I haven't seen a trailer yet that used screws. • Maintenance of the Jack Gears on the etrailer A-Frame Round Sidewind Jack
You should add grease 3 or 4 times a year to your # TJA-5000S-B, but really it depends on several factors like how often the jack is used, how long it sits, the climate, and so on. It should take about 3 or 4 pumps of grease from a grease gun. You will know it is too much if it starts oozing out somewhere! If you reference the instructions that are linked at the bottom of this page, you can see exactly where to put the grease.
