Replace your existing grease cap with a Bearing Buddy to ensure a safe, easy way to monitor and control the level of grease in your axle hub. To adjust the amount of grease in the hub, use a grease gun to add more through the appropriate fitting. Adding grease moves the Bearing Buddy spring-loaded piston outward 1/8".
The O-ring inside the barrel of the Bearing Buddy maintains a seal from the outside. The interior of the Bearing Buddy is pressurized, preventing water from entering the barrel and diluting the grease.
An automatic pressure-relief feature is built into the Bearing Buddy. When the device is full, grease will seep around the edges of the piston and into the barrel. This prevents overfilling that can damage the inner seal.
You can manually check the grease level in your Bearing Buddy by pressing on the edge of the piston. If you can rock or move the piston, the hub is properly filled.

Water kept creeping in the bearings every time it was submerged. This resulted in great time and money spent maintaining them, with four wheels to service. I finally figured out that the wheels are usually much warmer than the water and this produces a vacuum inside the sprocket as they suddenly cool, thus sucking up water like a thirsty camel. I discovered these “bearing buddies” at etrailer.com tha are spring-loaded to pressurize the sprocket chambers, and this eliminates the problem. This website is my first choice tor trailer parts, and their customer service is tops.

The bearing protectors arrived and everything looks great, thanks for the excellent service. I have not installed them as of yet, have to clean and repack the bearings and just have not gotten to it yet. I did check them for fit and it is A ok.

I purchased 15" fenders, buddy bearings & LED Lights from etrailer & they were all packed in one box & nothing was scratched or damaged! I obtain everything for my many trailers from etrailer & wouldn't waste any extra time researching other sights. These guys are the "BEST!" Don't waste your time, either. Go with etrailer!!
I think everyone should invest in getting bearing buddies for their trailer especially for marine and or boating purposes. I’m pleased with the product I ordered and received from etrailer. I have an odd ball hub size to begin with so I’m glad they had the bearing buddy size that I needed for my boat trailer. I haven’t installed these yet but when I do I’ll leave a further review and comment on the bearing buddy’s performance . But over all I’m happy with the product.

These are a necessary addition to your trailer. If you don't have them, get them. No other way to know that you have enough grease. I have used etrailer.com several times recently. All transactions were completed professionally. Thanks.

Well, I ordered the wrong size to start with but called and reordered the correct size. The Customer Service Was Excellent and a return label was sent so i could return the wrong Bearings. The shipping was Fast. Would and will order from this company again.
