  • Replacement Disc Brake Rotor/Hub For a 1990 Ranger Trail Boat Trailer
The Dexter 10" Hub-and-Rotor Assembly # K08-435-05 is designed to fit a 3,500LB trailer axle with the Inner Bearing # L68149, Outer Bearing # L44649 and Grease Seal # RG06-050. To confirm if this is what matches the axle on your 1990 Ranger Trail Boat Trailer, you will need to inspect your current hub for the bearing and seal information. If you are unable to find the information stamped on the bearings and seals you can measure your spindle with a Digital Caliper # PTW80157. Once you have...

For your AL-KO T44 axles, the brake assemblies you need are the Dexter Nev-R-Adjust Electric Trailer Brake Kit - 10" - Left and Right Hand Assemblies - 4.4K # K23-478-479 or the manual adjust # K23-462-463-00 along with spoon adjuster # W80630. The grease seal you want is AL-KO part 568861 which is the Grease Seal - Double Lip - ID 1.719" / OD 2.565" # RG06-050 for a set of 2 seals.

  • Timbren Axle-Less Suspension System Compatibility with Aluminum I-Beam Trailer Frame
The Timbren Heavy-Duty Axle-Less Trailer Suspension - 4" Lift Spindle - Off-Road Tires - 3,500 lbs # ASR35HDS02 is compatible with I-beam frames and in tandem axle configuration. Due to the Aluminum frame, I recommend putting a thin rubber pad between the steel mount and the aluminum I-beam. The powder coat on the steel should keep the two dissimilar metals from galvanic corrosion, but a thin rubber pad would drastically increase this safety. Zinc plated hardware will work well with...

  • Wheel Bearings and Grease Seal for 2023 Keystone Cougar 23MLE
Well, Dexter is normally really helpful but in this case not so much. From what they sent back you have a # L68149 inner and outer bearing. I've never heard of that before and really don't believe you have a straight spindle. Based on the fact that you also have a 10-19 grease seal # RG06-050 I feel like the outer bearing is actually # L44649. This would mean you can use the Hub Bearing Kit for Lippert, Dexter, and AL-KO Axles - 3,500 lb with #84 Spindle # BK2-100. I hate to say it but...

We do have the exact bearings, races, and grease seal you need for your 4,400 lb Dexter axle, and while there isn't a single kit with the parts, you can get them all individually. What you will need are the following: Bearings # L68149 and # LM67048 Races # L68111 and # LM67010 Grease Seals # RG06-050

  • Replacement Brake Assemblies and Grease Seal for 3,500 lb Trailer Axle
Hey Phillip, since we know you have 3,500 lb axles we can help but it's not based on the VIN. Since we don't know what brake assembly brand you have on your trailer but we do know capacity the correct replacement assemblies are the part # AKEBRK-35-SA. It's oftentimes more cost effective to just replace the assemblies instead of the individual components plus it's a lot harder to find the parts. Then for a grease seal you'd want the part # RG06-050.

  • Replacement for Bearing LM48548 and Grease Seal 10-4
Grease Seal # RG06-050 has an inner diameter of 1.719" and outer diameter of 2.565", you mentioned you have grease seal 10-4 and it has a width of .5" but from my research it looks like a 10-4 seal has an inner diameter of 1.249" and outer diameter of 1.983". I strongly recommend using a digital caliper such as # PTW80157 to measure the seal, as well as your spindle where the seal rides in order to get the correct replacement. If it does have an inner diameter of 1.249" and outer diameter...

  • Solution for Ranger Trail Trailer Hub Issue
Thanks for reaching out, Troy! According to my research it looks like the Ranger Trail trailers have a tendency to fail at the oil seal - which means either the seal is bad or the spindle is damaged where the seal rides. Hydraulic disc brakes will be the most cost-effective solution for you. In order to add those you will need to know your axle's weight capacity. I recommend going with a hub and rotor disc brake kit such as the Kodiak # K2HR35D. To add a hub and roter you will need to take apart your current hubs and find the bearing numbers. You do need to make sure that this kit is compatible with your trailer's axle capacity, brake mounting flange, bearings and grease seal are compatible. Hey Zachary, are you sure you need the seal to be that thin? Normally variances in seal thicknesses doesn't really affect anything and replacing a thinner seal with a thicker one doesn't cause any issues. If that's case our part # 58846 would fit and work great.

For your 2015 Keystone Cougar 5th Wheel with AL-KO 4,400 lb axles, the inner wheel seal you’re looking for should be a part part # RG06-050 It has an inner diameter of about 1.719" and an outer diameter of 2.565". I believe we can narrow this down based on the information you are referencing. However, the best way to be sure is to measure your existing bearings or spindle with a digital caliper like the # PTW80157. It looks like one bearing is stamped with # L44649.
