Lumens are used to measure the amount of usable light that is put out by a light source. Raw lumens represent the number of lumens that the manufacturer claims the LEDs are capable of producing. It does not include the light's drive method or the amount of light lost from the lens or reflector. Effective lumens take these factors into account and represent the number of lumens that are actually produced by the complete light assembly, not just the amount of light that the diodes are capable of producing. This light has a 1,800 raw lumen capacity and produces 780 effective lumens.

Speaker 1: Today we're gonna take a look at the Optronics three-inch square, black aluminum flood beam LED work light, for a quantity of one. Now this square work light will provide bright, white light for industrial, agricultural, and recreational applications. It does give off a flood beam, which is great for seeing out in front of you and even off to both sides. It does use the durable SMT construction, which is Surface Mount Technology, on the LED circuit board. This will help better withstand shock and vibration, and allows for improved heat distribution.The LEDs they use are great replacements for incandescent lights because they'll last 50 times longer. They are more efficient, provide brighter light with less power output.
So no bulbs to replace, no brittle filaments.This is a durable, water-resistant construction. It has a nice black, powder coat, diecast, aluminum housing, which is rust-proof. The lens on it is a tough polycarbonate lens, which is impact-resistant. And this light meets the IP65 rating for protection against dust and moisture. This is compatible with 12-volt DC systems.
It's a very easy installation. It comes with all the mounting hardware you need. It's a recessed flame style bracket and the bolts to install it. It does have, on the back here, a 16-inch long 16-gauge power lead and ground wire.Now a few specs on this. The light output, the Raw Lumen output is 1,800 Lumens.
The Effective Lumen output is 780 Lumens. It does use six diodes. Again, the lead wire length, we mentioned, is 16 inches long. The input voltage on this is 12.8 Volts DC. The power draw at the 12.8 Volts DC is 1.4 Amps.And I do wanna give you some dimensions on this.
Now the light, just by itself, is gonna be, as we mentioned, three inches by three inches by about two and three-quarter inches deep. Overall, including the mounting flange, length on it, edge-to-edge, is gonna be right at four and three-quarter inches by three and five-eights inches, and as we mentioned before, the depth is gonna be right at about two and three-quarter inches deep.Now what I'm gonna do is plug this in, hook this up to some 12-Volt power just to show you how bright it is and the pattern. So go ahead and take our ground and we'll hook that to the black wire. And we'll go ahead and take our power and hook that to the red wire. And we'll go ahead and turn on our 12-Volt power. And you can see with it on, very bright light. I'm gonna go ahead and turn off the overhead lights. And with the overhead lights off, you can see how six diodes give off a very bright light. And you can see the flood beam pattern it gives off. Go ahead and turn back on the overhead lights. Go ahead and turn off our light.But that should do it for the review on the Optronics three-inch square, black aluminum flood beam, LED work light, for a quantity of one.

Two are mounted on front support bars on of rol on Bobcat 3400 4x4. It’s on rugged terrain in Llano Tx , lots of shackling and bouncing and don’t have to worry about a light bar getting ripped off from low branches. They provide all the light you need
Worked great as a backup light for my truck. But water leaked into it, and it died. Replaced it with another one that’s Doing just fine so far.
Awesome product, the backup lights on my Chevy truck were hard to see in the dark. the addition of a pair of these lights wired into the original backup lights really put a new light on the problem.
I bought this light to mount on the rear of my horse trailer , worked great and provides plenty of light . Easy to mount and seams very well built and has a built in heat sink to keep cool.

I have been buying and installing LED lights in my vehicles for years now, and it was time to put backup lights in my new custom-made bumper for my truck. I like brands like Rigid, but they are amazingly expensive, so I will never buy them unless I find them used. I compared pricing of these Optronics units with ones on Amazon (Chinese units), and the value of these was better, as this is a brand I'm familiar with. They work nicely, look just as good as others, and are bright enough to light the way behind me. They come with hardware to install in most any application. Very nice!
