When you’re driving at night or in dim conditions, being seen matters. This Peterson Spitfire Low Profile Round Trailer Reflector uses a unique Spitfire design that gives you a 50 percent wider angle of reflectivity than conventional reflectors. With 47,000 microprisms per square inch, it throws light back efficiently from many directions so your trailer stands out clearly when hit by headlights.

You don’t have to sacrifice looks for safety. At just 2-7/8" in diameter, this low-profile round reflector blends neatly onto your trailer while adding noticeable visibility. The smooth amber face keeps the style simple and functional without drawing extra attention or snagging on gear.
Installing this reflector is quick and straightforward—no drilling or hardware needed. The pressure-sensitive adhesive backing sticks firmly to flat or curved surfaces, making it easy to place exactly where you need it. Just clean, peel, press, and you’re done.
You can trust this reflector to meet safety standards. It’s DOT compliant when used correctly, so it provides the level of visibility required for trailers and other vehicles on the road. That compliance means dependable performance and peace of mind every time you head out.

Today we're going to take a look at the Peterson Amber Round Microprismatic Reflector. Now this reflector uses state of the art technology, provides 47,000 microprisms per square inch. This will provide a 50% wider angle of reflectivity compared to your conventional reflectors. You can see it is a surface mount. Basically this tab right here, if you just pull the tab, it'll take that backing off. Then the reflector has a nice strong self adhesive backing on it.
It is SAE and DOT compliant and it is stamped on here. Let me turn it to the bottom here and I'll just try to put a little . I don't know if you can really see it but it is stamped right on here, it says, "SAE A90 DOT." The last thing I want to do is give you the diameter of this reflector. From one side to the other is going to be right at 2 7/8 inches. That should do it for the review on the Peterson Amber Round Microprismatic Reflector.

The reflectors are still very bright when reflecting light, the tire and rim have had no problems.

The reflector strips are still in place, but I never use the cargo carrier at nightso, I do not know how reflective they are.
