This simple 4-bike rack is perfect for families who enjoy the occasional bike trip. The masts fold down so you can easily access your rear cargo area with your bikes unloaded and it includes locks for bikes and rack.

The XTC4's mast has a pair of ratcheting hooks that hold your bikes securely by the top tube. And because they move independently, you can carry bikes of different shapes and sizes. The hooks have soft padding that won't scratch or scuff your bike's paint.
The rack has wheel hoops that provide a stable base for mounting your bikes. Each hoop has a hand knob that lets you easily slide it along the tray to accommodate your bike's wheelbase. It also includes a rubber strap on each hoop that secures your bike's wheels to the rack. If you need to carry fat bikes, there are hoops (sold separately) that let you carry bikes with tires up to 5" wide.
You can fold the masts down for access to your rear cargo area. Just pull the spring-loaded release lever at the base of each mast and fold them down. You can also fold the rack up against your vehicle for storage. Pull the pin at the base of the rack, fold it up against your vehicle, and reinsert the pin in the hole at the bottom of the rack.
A braided-steel cable lock secures your bikes to the rack. It has a vinyl coating that protects your bikes from scratches and scuffs. There is also a keyed-alike locking hitch pin that secures the rack to your vehicle. The hitch pin works with a built-in anti-wobble device in the shank to eliminate rattle in the hitch receiver during transport.

Despite her handiness, my wife was able to mount the rack without assistance. Good value, for this level of function. A well-engineered device.
The product was good quality however, one part of it was bent. I dont believe you guys would have known about it though. It does function like it is supposed to so I'm not concerned with that. It was a good product and I would recommend it to other people. It was cheaper than in town and I was greatful for the free shipping. Thanks John

Best rack for the moneyThis rack does what it's designed for. It will hold almost any four bikes that are made, in any combination - Downhill, ten speed, kids, cruisers, etc. And there's no need to remove wheels!
I received this rack very quickly, it was easy to put together and it is very easy and quick to securely put multiple bikes on this rack!
Very nice purchase. Excellent product. One warning: if your brake cables run along the top of the frame, put a cloth under the hold-down hooks. The vibration will cause the cable to rub off the paint without some type of barrier.
Hooked up the trailer for the first time today. Looks and feels solid. Seems to keep the bikes very secure. Great product and eTrailer has been an incredible company!
Nice Rack!!! great value too.This rack does what it's supposed to do, for less than half the price of the big named brands. Maybe not as well engineered, but I'm stoked with the product. I hauled my full suspension stumpy, one rigid mtb, and two heavy steel cruiser's on a 9 hour trip with no problems at all. Bikes will not fall off of this thing!
Getting the 4 bikes on at first was like a puzzle, but once you get them in order, it becomes easy. A little heavy, but I believe it is the lightest 4 bike carrier on the market and also the cheapest. Very sturdy and not cheaply built. I am glad I chose this one.

I am very about that4 bike Rack for 2"Trailer Hitches, Wheel Mount-Swagman XTC4 - 64665. It tock me about 40mi. to put it together it es a great product
Nice Rack! Works very well at carrying different sizes and types of bikes at the same time. It is heavy, but the ability to infinitely adjust the rack is well worth the extra weight.
It took about 20 minutes to assemble the rack by myself. Used it this weekend to haul 4 mountain bike about 150 miles. Our old rack used to let the bikes rub and bang together when the road was choppy. No worries with this rack. Nothing can move.
This bike rack does everything it is advertised to do and is very well built. I also really liked the attention to detail that etrailer provided, even sending me an email the day of delivery notifying me that it had been delivered. That waqs a nice touch. I will definitely recommend etrailer and Swagman to my friends.

Great product, well thought out, holds odd shaped mountain bikes securely in wheel mounts, security cable works well. Overall a great bike rack for the money. Only downside is the weight of the rack, which is a result of its heavy duty design.

Etrailer was great to work with. the lock for the cable was missing in my package. I emailed them to let them know and they rushed out a replacement lock immediately. GREAT SERVICE.
The unit itself went together pretty easy. Fits my kids bikes no problem. Leaving for 2000 mile road trip next week so will update after that but I expect no problems. IMO This is hands down the best 4 bike carrier on the market for the ability to fit all different kinds of bikes.
The bike carrier arrived in 2 days. It was easy to assemble. Once we adjusted everything to fit the four bikes we have, it was easy to load and unload. We left on a 1200 mile trip with our bikes and I was very impressed with the sturdiness of the rack. There was very litlle movement even at 75 miles per hour. Great product! I will buy from etrailer again. Easy transaction.
Good rack for carrying four bikes however you need to jockey the bikes around to get four to fit. The hooked security bars go down easily to snug up holding the frame down but when it comes time to release them they are very difficult sometimes to release. Also this rack will not clear the bumper on a 2010 Toyota Sienna Van in order to store the rack in the upright position. Using a Curt hitch for the Sienna.
Awesome Rack This rack is great. I moved from a Allen hanging rack to this and the difference is night and day. I dont drive watching the rear-view mirror the entire time hoping my bikes dont fall off. Installed on a Jeep Liberty - NOTE, this rack fits a Liberty with Spare Tire installed but you cannot fold it up or mount a bike on the spot closest to the car. I just removed my spare tire for the season and put is in the back of the Liberty and without it there this rack is awesome.
Heavy but works well, my wife is not able to put it onto the hitch by herself do to the weight. Can't beat the price for a four bike platform rack.
