Yes! These are perfect for what they are meant for. Keeps the wiring safer then you don't have to worry about it getting damaged from dragging :)

I wish you had a bracket to hold the C42CR on top of the receiver like the one I built from 1/2” flat stock. See below.
Great, as far as it goes. This needed to be installed attached to my vehicle’s plastic bumper cover so I made a backing plate from some scrap aluminum, which makes the attachment feel much more secure when exerting pressure to plug/unplug the trailer lights. If I’d seen this for sale WITH such backing I would’ve bought it instead.
This is probably my 5th trailer hitch and wiring I have order from you all and everything has always went on without a hitch. LOL But seriously great product and what really puts it above everything is the installation videos. If you follow them everything goes smoothly. Thank You

Hey Claude. There really is no right or wrong way to install this bracket. We have had customers attach it directly to their bumpers or the hitch. You can also use a bracket like part # 18136. It comes with a hose clamp to attach to the hitch and then gives you a platform to attach part # C42CR that you already have. I included an install video using the bracket that comes with the hose clamp. Unfortunately I don't have a video showing the install method of attaching to the bumper. Perfect compliment to the hitch install to have a bracket ton permanently mount the connection end and not just hanging down.
Contrary to the picture, mine included 3 mounting holes (for two difference spacings), which was a needed feature for me. If it included the mounting screws (it does not) then I would have given 5 stars.
I'm going to tap two screw holes in beam and attach curt mounting bracket. It would be nice if the holes were included with the trailer hitch.

I nolonger have that vehicle, but when I traded it in, the curt mounting bracket still looked like a factory job
Fits perfect for the connector I also bought. Also they installed it for free.
Bracket is heavy duty and well made. May be mounted anyplace convenient.
I purchased thinking it might be handy but after looking at the available mounting location, I didn’t think it would be convenient so I didn’t use it.
Makes a solid mounting for 4 pin trailer plug
I had to open the mounting holes slightly to match the holes in the hitch. Other than that it fit great.

The connector mounts from the backside of the bracket, which means pushing the trailer connector into place will sometimes push the connector out of the bracket. I just hold the backside of the connector as I connect the trailer and its all good. Not a big deal, but some type of better mounting for the car side of the connector would be nice though.

Well made product just hard to reach as it is mounted to the receiver which is almost hidden from normal view. So you have to reach further under the vehicle than anticipated.
Mount came in with my ETRAILER order mount LOOKS GREAT

Continues to perform as expected. Outstanding.
The unit fit right in a looks great. Very easy install Hyundai Tucson Hybrid 2024.
Easy and simple. Only gave 4 stars because item did not come with mounting bolts. Easy fix with bolts I had on hand. No drilling required because it was compatible with the Draw Tite Class III (76034) I also purchased from etrailer.

This bracket worked perfectly on my 2023 Chevy Bolt EUV. I drilled two holes into the existing body panel mount to connect it to the car. It also interfaced perfectly with the flat wiring harness plug.
Easy install fit great took about 20 minutes to complete install
