Can a hitch and wiring be installed on L/LS model Traverse? Is the factory wiring set up to accept a wiring harness plug-in? Thank you.

A hitch and trailer wiring can certainly be installed on a 2021 Chevrolet Traverse.
The etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e56YR would be a great choice; this is confirmed to fit all models of the 2021 Traverse. It has a max towing capacity of 5000lbs, and a max tongue weight of 750lbs. Be sure to comply with your vehicle's capacity so that you don't overload.
As far as the trailer wiring, I would go with the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness 4-Pole # C56394. This is also confirmed to fit all models of the 2021 Traverse. It does not require any custom wiring or splicing, it simply plugs into the factory harness/connector on your vehicle, this is normally behind the bumper on the driver side.
I also recommend getting a mounting bracket for your 4 Way trailer plug, this way the plug isn't just hanging. I would go with the Mounting Bracket 4-Pole Flat # 18144.

Order #121320467 I installed the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness 4-Pole # C56394 as per instructions / video on 2023 Chevy Travese LT along with CU29FR hitch. The proximity side sensor is now disabled. Did I do something wrong?
