Can A No-Drill Bracket Be Installed On A Hitch With A Square Crosstube?

Hi, I have a 2018 Toyota Rav4 and Im looking to buy part 18140 and 18144 but I have question. How do you install part 18140 on a square hitch? The metal clamp is not going to work on the square hitch. Please advice, thank!

Hey Rogelio, thanks for reaching out. It is totally fine to use a no-drill bracket like part 18140 on a hitch with a square crosstube. People do it all the time and it works out fine. It's basically a hose clamp and once you tighten it, it can secure just fine to a round or square tube. I've included a picture that shows what this looks like.
That said, both of the part numbers you mentioned are for older parts that have been discontinued, but we do have available alternatives. Take a look at the following:

Hi Jesse, Thank you very much for your reply. I have one more question, is the trailer connector #C56350 still current / available for my 2018 Rav4? Regarding hour question, I will hauling a single jetski trailer.
