Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. And today, we're gonna take a brief look at these replacement left-hand brake shoes for the Dexter 10 inch Nev-R-Adjust electric brakes. Now, these replacement shoes are going to fit the Dexter Nev-R-Adjust electric trailer brakes that are 10 inches in diameter and 2 1/4 inches thick and have an axle rating of 3,500 pounds. So, as I mentioned, this is for the left-hand or driver's side. And the way that you can tell that is on the Nev-R-Adjust brakes, they have this pulley right here that the cable will go through and attach this to the lever and then it automatically adjusts.
This pulley will always be facing out so you will know this one will have to face out. And if you look at the size of the pad, you'll see that one is longer than the other. So, this one here is longer and this one is shorter. The shorter pad is your primary shoe so that will always go into the front and then the longer pad will go in the back, similar to this. So, you will know with this pulley facing out and the shorter pad being at the front, you're going to know the side and the direction that these brake shoes are going to get installed.
This also includes the pull down springs and pins that are going to be used to attach this to the back and plate of your trailer along with an instruction sheet to walk you through the installation process.
