Cranking the tongue of a loaded equipment, livestock, or commercial trailer can turn every hitch-up into a workout. This system gives you 10,000 lbs of hydraulic lifting capacity and 12,000 lbs of support capacity, letting the powered jack handle raising and lowering the trailer. Its 20" lift gives you plenty of movement for hitching, unhitching, and adjusting tongue height.
The jack connects to the included KTI DC-4442 12V double-acting hydraulic power unit through two 48" hoses and the supplied fittings. That lets you weld the jack where the trailer needs the support while mounting the pump and 3-qt reservoir in a protected location elsewhere on the trailer. The system powers both extension and retraction, with up to 3,200 psi available for raising and 1,500 psi for lowering.
The two-button corded pendant lets you operate the jack away from the hydraulic power unit, making it easier to stand where you can watch the coupler, trailer, and surrounding area during height adjustments. The included components are designed as a complete single-jack hydraulic system, without requiring a separate selector valve to operate the leg.
The 4" x 4" square jack tube is designed for direct-weld installation. Position the jack so the distance from the bottom of the foot to the underside of the trailer frame does not exceed 8", helping preserve the intended lifting geometry and usable travel. The hydraulic power unit should be mounted in a weather-protected enclosure, with the battery secured and protected nearby.
The 9-1/2" x 9-1/2" footplate spreads the trailer load across a broad contact area and pivots as the jack moves, helping it sit more naturally on uneven gravel, dirt, or pavement. The jack's exterior-grade black finish helps protect the square-tube body through everyday weather and trailer use.

Hello, everybody. Steve here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at our Dexter Single Hydraulic Jack System with Double Action Pump, rated at 12,000 pounds capacity. Now folks, this is just the single action pump with the included motor and the reservoir here for your fluid. We do offer an additional jack leg with a add-on select valve, and you can purchase that separately. I'll put that add number on the screen if you want to go ahead and do two jacks versus one.
Now, a hydraulic jack kit is gonna be a lot smoother, a lot quieter than your traditional jacks where you gotta hand crank, even with the electric motor ones where you have to hear the noises and mess with those kind of things. This will give you a smoother up and down so it'd be great for maybe horse trailers with livestock, those kind of things, as well as your commercial and construction needs as well. Now again, it is a double acting pump and power unit that would attach to the jack with the included hoses and fittings. I put these hoses on top here. As you can see, they're pretty long.
And these would connect right here in the front. There's two connection points. I'm gonna set them off to the side here for now. And we're gonna zoom in and take a look at everything else. So you've got your motor here with the pump, and you've got the reservoir here for all the hydraulic fluid.
You've also got a nice remote here that would match up to the cord here on the pump and reservoir. You've got a nice bungee cord here for keeping those hydraulic hoses up and outta the way. And spinning it around to the back here you've got some hydraulic hose, elbows, and straight fittings, and you've also got your positive and negative connectors for the battery for powering up this unit here. Now this foot plate where we resumed in does pivot, and that's gonna help you on uneven surface. The foot plate is nine and a half by nine and a half square.
The jack tubing is four inch by four inch. The height of this jack, when it's fully retracted like it is now from the ground to the top, I got 30 and three quarter inches tall. And when it's fully extended, I got 50 and three quarter inches tall. Now has a max pressure when it's raising of 3,200 PSI, and when it's lowering it's 1500 PSI. The maximum of hydraulic flow rate is gonna be two gallons per minute. Now there's a selector valve that's gonna create a smooth and efficient operation, even for those heavy loads. And the square tube has a nice black powder coat finish and that would simply bolt to your trailer frame. Now you got a nice powder coat finish here on the motor itself as well. Well, folks, I think that's gonna wrap it up. Just a real quick look today at the Dexter Single Hydraulic Jack System with Double Acting Pump. I'm Steven. Thanks for watching.
