Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a look at the replacement brake shoes for the Dexter 10 inch passenger side, NEV-R-Adjust electric brake assembly for 3000 pound axles.Now, these are the replacement brake shoes that fit the 10 inch by 1 1/2 inch Dexter NEV-R-Adjust electric trailer brake assemblies. And what that size means is when we say 10 inch by 1 1/2 inch, those measurements, the 10 inch will be the diameter. When these shoes are applied to the backing plate of your brake assembly, the measurement from this edge to the brake shoe, to this edge we'll measure right at 10 inches. And then the 1 1/2 inch measurement is the width of the pad that's on the brake shoe.

So there, you can see the 1 1/2 inch measurement, and these brake shoes are for the passenger side or right-hand side brake assembly. And the way you can tell what side these go on is, if you look at the shoes, the pads on the shoe, if you look at this pad will go from here all the way for here. And this pad goes from here all the way through here.This is a shorter pad. This is the longer pad. The shorter pad is known as the primary shoe and the primary shoe will always face the front of the trailer.

So that's going to tell you that, that one's going to go this way and this will go that way. And it's something that it fits the passenger side or right-hand side assembly.Also, just to let you know how you can tell these will fit a NEV-R-Adjust brake, a NEV-R-Adjust brake is one that you don't have to constantly adjust. Once you initially install it and adjust it the first time, it automatically adjusts and the way it does that, it has a cable that runs down to a lever on the adjustment wheel. And as you drive forward and backward, it will automatically adjust your brakes.So this will fit in the NEV-R-Adjust because you'll see this wheel that's where the cable goes around this wheel. On the NEV-R-Adjust, you'll see this wheel on there and that'll let you know that it fits the NEV-R-Adjust brakes.

Now it does include the two shoes comes with the retention springs, the pins, the caps to install it. These parts are made in the USA. Specs again, fits a 10 inch by 1 1/2 inch brake assembly.
