Works great and easy to install no issues fast shipping
This product makes it so simple to add a Fifth wheel plug into the bed. Installation takes maybe 20-30 minutes. I installed mine on the column at the tailgate so it is out of the way (less likely to get damaged by other cargo). The only issue I experienced with install was that due to the small opening in that column (from under the vehicle), I had to remove the gray wire cover and then reinstall it after feeding the wire harness up into the column. (This was minor) Would definitely recommend this as it is simply "plug n play" with no cutting of wires or crimping needed.

This kit doe not fit an “early” 1999 Ford F250 Superduty. When I bought the truck new, my towing package was a pigtail in a cardboard box, it was up to the owner to install the 7 pole connector. I forgot about that when I ordered this kit to put an additional 7 pole connector in my bed for a gooseneck. I only saw that it fit “almost” all Superdutys, my mistake for not understanding what I was buying! I had to cut off two of the plugs and splice them in, not exactly what I envisioned reading the description. On the other hand, the quality and gauge of the wire seems to be equal or better than the factory Ford. Currently waiting for extra heat shrink tubing to complete the job.
The cord made the electrical part of installing my new fith wheel hitch very easy just plug in the connections and your done .

Don't fit over stock exhaust instructions terrible had to make to many modifications to make this fit

Awesome product fit the truck just like it should and very easy to install keeps me from scratching the tailgate with a wire over the back of the truck easy to reach when hooking up trailer
Easy install. Everything as expected
Installation was very straight forward.
I used some left over pieces of foam pipe insulation over the cable where it passed over the truck frame and th inner wheel well. I mounted the extended Seven Pin connector just forward of the wheel well just below the bed rail on the driver's side.
The umbilical from our 5th wheel reaches with enough slack to lay on the truck bed.
We picked up our Escape 5.0TA two weeks ago and drove about 3300 miles from WA to MI.
The plug was easy to plug in and unplug.
Overall a very nice product.

After 1 year still very satisfied with this product. Would buy again.

Customer service for product selection and order entry were excellent and focused on my interests and needs. The hitch, custom installation kit, and harness were shipped very quickly and arrived sooner than expected. Everything arrived in excellent condition. Assembly and installation instructions were very clear and specific, and I was able to assemble and install everything with no problems and in a very reasonable amount of time. Total cost was roughly half of what it would have been if I had purchased the products and had them installed by a dealer. I am very satisfied with my experience dealing with etrailer.com, and would highly recommend them to anyone shopping for towing products.

I'm a huge fan of completing wiring projects with no "hacking" into harnesses. This harness is plug and play. When I finished installing it, the underside of the truck looks like it came from the factory. Job done

It is working fine after a year, it feels as if this was factory installed.
This is an easy install and seems well made. I probably didn’t need the 10’ long my truck called for but no problem zip tying up out of the way. Well pleased.
Initially worked great, but now it keeps losing connection to the camper. I had to plug the camper in to the 7 way on the bumper to get home. Everything would seem fine but then getting on the highway I'd get a warning message on the dash and lose lights/trailer brakes. Not something you want happening at 70mph.
Works great, don't order the 10' long unless you really need it, it's a lot with a 6' bed.
Worked great, I traded the vehicle that I installed the wiring adapter in tho. So it may be of use to someone else also.
Worked perfect. Unfortunately 1 yr later at the bumper location (where the splitter is installed) I don't have reverse lights on my trailer. They still work from the new mount in the box, just not from the bumper location. It's possible it never worked from the beginning, as I didn't have a trailer with reverse light at the time, but I do now and they don't work... I understand I'm just outside of the 1yr warranty period too. My fault for not checking right away.
This wiring harness made adding a plug in the bed of the truck for the gooseneck trailer a breeze. I didn’t really need the 10’ harness but I just looped and zip tied the excess. One year later and the plug still works great.
Quality product with simple plug and play installation.
My 2019 Ram 3500 does not have the fifth wheel prep package. This (and Curt fifth wheel hitch rails / brackets also purchased) made it easy.
Have used this product since 10/2019...no problems in wet or (AZ) dry.
Do not like anything to do with automotive wiring so I purchased this item because it appeared to be just plug and play with no cutting or splicing wires. It is just that, plug and play and it was done.
Unplugged 7 point connector attached to bumper and plugged in the new wiring harness. One other plug was unplugged and wiring harness 2nd plug was plugged in. Route wiring loom along along factory wiring loom inside frame close to the front of my 2004 F 250 super Duty 8ft truck bed. Drilled hole and connected harness and plug so my slide in camper electrical will plug into this trailer plug. Screws to mount to inside of truck bed are stainless steel which is great to protect against rust. I also brushed Rustoleum paint inside the hole I cut so there was no bare metal surfaces exposed. 10ft wiring loom was the right choice to get plug up near the front of my 8ft bed.
easy installation after removing the spare tire and buying the correct hole saw. Hardest part was drilling the hole and worry that came with it about possible incorrect position and possible bed damage but no problem, lot's of room on a '16 Ram. I mounted it where the factory plug would be installed at the left rear of the bed next to the tie-down,
Works as advertised. This wiring harness is being used to connect from a 2019 Ram 3500 8' box to a slide in truck camper. I ran this harness across and then up through and over the drivers side wheel well to have the connector available in front of the wheel well and behind the fuel door. Plenty of space in the area between the box wall and truck wall without interfering with any of the fuel or breather lines.
This was a great product, works exactly as advertised.
A couple of things to note for install on a newer (2011-2016) model truck:
1. The Diesel Exhaust Fluid reservoir/pump makes the driver-side part of the install a pain in the butt. Particularly drilling the holes in the bed for the tow-chain loops. You have to drill from the underside of the bed, however there is almost no clearance between the DEF setup and the bed. I had to use an air grinder (90 deg) with a shorty bit to drill a small pilot hole on the front hole, and then measure the distance and drill the rear hole from the top down (blind).
2. The frame clamp (u-bolt) on the driver-side needs to be smashed a bit with a hammer to get it into position to fully clamp down.
Last thing (not necessarily about late model Ford), it is almost impossible to get a torque wrench in to tighten the adapter plates to the actual hitch. I just put a 1/2" drive flex head on my air-gun and went to town.
Other than these things it installed pretty well...could have used a lift.
