Based on the dimensions of your truck and the trailer you can probably execute about 50 degree turns with a stationary fifth wheel hitch. That can be tough and can cause a lot of issues if a shorter turn is required.

My recommendation is to replace the pin box on your trailer with a Sidewinder. The pin box on the trailer should have a plate or sticker, identifying the model. I have attached a link to our product page for the Sidewinders we offer. You can use the filter on the page to select the model number of the pin box you wish to replace.

The fifth wheel hitch I recommend for you is the Reese, part # RP30890, which has a 20,000-lb capacity. It fits right into the pucks in the bed of your truck.

The Demco system will not work with the factory puck system you have on your truck.

if you need a wiring harness for your trailer in the bed of your truck I recommend part # 20110.

If your truck does not have the factory tow system(pucks in the bed), then that changes everything. I recommend the Demco Hijacker Autoslide 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch, part # DM8550034. You also need the Rail and Installation Kit, part # DM8552011-71. Installing this system gives you 14 inches of additional clearance when towing, and gives you full access to your truck bed when you are not towing your fifth wheel trailer. This fifth wheel hitch has an 18,000-lb capacity and features a single jaw that wraps around the king pin giving you a smoother ride with less rattle. This is an automatic slider which means you do not have to get out of your truck to operate a manual slider. I do still recommend the # 20110 wiring harness for your fifth wheel trailer.
