Question:

Your recommendation of one of these 5th wheel hitch is Demco 21K non-slide or the B W companion 20 K hitch or Curt Q 25 hitch for a ford park system for a raptor toy hauler 19,500 total weight why dosnt b w make the 25k hitch for ford puck system ? Why dose not BW companion make a heavyier fifth wheel hitch then 20K with the ford puck system ? What are my options I have a 2017 raptor 412 dry weight 16 K tong 3900 ?

The Demco Recon 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch - Single Jaw - Above Bed - 21,000 lbs # DM8550043 is able to tow 21,000 lbs, but it does not come ready to install with the Ford factory puck system. To use it with the factory rail kit, you will need to use an adapter like the Reese Elite Series Underbed Rail Adapter for Standard 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches - 20,000 lbs # RP30156. This is the only adapter that we know is compatible with this hitch and your factory rail kit and it will reduce your max towing capacity to 20,000 lbs. This combination will be a light weight and easy to use option if your trailer is 20K or less.

For your 2017 Ford factory rails, I honestly don't know why certain companies don't make larger capacity 5th wheel hitches when the rails can support it. I see the options you listed and recommend out of them the Curt Q25 # C16039. However, I recommend the Curt A25 # C16036. It has a slightly higher height adjustment, a higher vertical load limit, and all of the other components are almost identical. The part that really puts it above the other hitches in my opinion is the interlocking jaw design. This will handle your 2017 Raptor 412 and make your towing experience a great one. I do recommend the Curt wiring harness # C56000 to put a second working 7-way trailer connector in the bed of your truck for easy access.
