This Yakima SkyLine roof rack uses aluminum JetStream crossbars that can handle up to 165 lbs of gear when properly loaded. The aluminum build keeps things lightweight but rigid, so your kayaks, canoes, or cargo boxes stay secure mile after mile.
Anyone who’s driven with the wrong crossbars knows how loud wind noise can get. These JetStream bars have an aerodynamic profile that helps air move smoothly over the top of the rack. The push-down rubber strips fill the top channels to reduce vibration and whistling. You’ll notice a quieter ride without having to wrap cords or tape gaps to calm things down.
A lot of racks make you cut rubber strips before adding mounts. With this setup, you just press your carrier hardware straight into the top channels—the strips push down and close back around it. The aero-style crossbars work with both channel-mount accessories and clamp-around attachments, so you can mix brands and gear types without special adapters. If you want extra peace of mind on overnight trips or trailhead stops, the rack is built to accept Yakima Same Key System (SKS) lock cores, sold separately. Once added, they deter theft of the rack so you can leave your setup on the roof without worry.

Tghe racks have remained on since I installed them correctly, no thanks to your video. I read the manual it came with.
