How To Mount The Yakima HD Cross Bars On A 2018 Subaru Outback Wagon

hello etrailer-people. your advice on the site looks amazing so I thought idfoot touch base before I ordered a handful or parts. Ifoot mounting existing yakima HD bars on a factory subaru rack by drilling through the factory rack and directly mounting the HD bar. I need to know what parts I need that fit into the HD bar bottom slot and then accept a screw bolt M6 in order to tighten down the rack. I know its custom, and I have some opinions but would love to hear from the experts. current guesses include: Replacement T-Bolt with Nut for Yakima Rack and Roll Trailers - Qty 4 - Y8880184 Y8890028Replacement Hardware Bag for Yakima LandingPad 1 - Y8890028 and also: Toyota/Nissan Utility Track Adapter Kit for Yakima OverHaul HD and OutPost HD Truck Racks - Qty 4 - Y01168 the last one is overkill- i just need 4 mounting plates and screws. anyway thank you for your help!

To add the Yakima HD cross bars to the existing roof rails on your 2018 Subaru Outback wagon. I don't suggest making holes in the roof rails. We cannot provide the information to install them in that manner.
I recommend using the HD Bar SL Adapter for Yakima BaseLine, SkyLine, TimberLine, and RidgeLine Towers - Qty 4 Item # Y03541 the Landing Pad 15 for Yakima Control Towers - Qty 4 Item # Y00241 and the SkyLine Towers for Yakima Crossbars - Fixed Mounting Points, Flush Rails, and Track Systems - Qty 4 Item # Y53TR.
These three items allow you to mount the HD bars without damaging or drilling into the factory roof rails.
We do not currently offer just the 4 mounting plates and screws for the Yakima Overhaul HD and OutPost truck racks.
