What is the best heavy duty option for adding stronger crossbars to our 2018 Outback. It has the factory rack with flimsy stowable crossbars.

The best upgraded roof rack we can offer for a 2018 Subaru Outback Wagon would be from Yakima, the JetStream Crossbar System part # Y00425, part # Y53TR, and part # Y00241 in particular is what I recommend. This system would provide you with a 165 lb weight capacity which would be the limit for this vehicle. It would also provide you with longer crossbars as well as those that have channels which will make the roof rack much more versatile.
