When you’re loading up for a big trip, you want gear that can handle the weight. These heavy-duty aluminum crossbars support up to 500 lbs, giving you the strength to haul kayaks, cargo boxes, or work gear securely. The sturdy build keeps everything stable on long drives and uneven roads, so you can focus on the adventure instead of your load.
Long drives can get loud with air rushing over the roof, but the built-in rubberized strips in these bars’ top channels help cut down on that wind noise and drag. The aerodynamic shape means fewer vibrations and a smoother ride, even when the rack is fully loaded.
These crossbars are ready for whatever you’re carrying. The top channels accept channel-mount accessories, while the bar shape also fits clamp-on carriers. Whether you’re hauling bikes, skis, or camping gear, you can use the mounts you already own without extra adapters or complicated setups.
The system includes 2 HD crossbars, 4 BaseLine towers, 4 adapters, and a custom fit kit designed for vehicles without factory roof rails. Everything locks together for a secure hold that fits the roofline cleanly. You can also add Yakima Same Key System (SKS) lock cores (sold separately) to help deter theft when your vehicle is parked.
No more searching for a place to hook your straps. Each bar has built-in tie-down points at the endcaps, making it easy to secure gear quickly and safely. Just thread your straps through and cinch everything tight before hitting the road.
