Great product and it was easy to install. Everything came with the kit and I didn’t need to buy anything extra. The utube channel had a video showing complete instructions
It is a very robust designed and manufactured hitch. Installation was very simple and the fish wire was just as simple as it shows on the instructional video. Overall very well pleased. The only problem I had was one of the hex nuts was so close to the gusset, I could not use a socket but had to use an open end wrench. The instructions do not state to not reinstall the heat shield but the video does. I used zip ties to secure the bumper cover to the hitch which worked perfectly.

Freaking awesome trailer hitch! I've been an E-Trailer customer for years and this is the easiest install I've ever had. I love how the hitch is completely hidden except for the receiver! Also, having been an E-Trailer user for a while, this was the first hitch to arrive without any paint missing. I'm mildly optimistic that this matte finish is more durable than the usual gloss paint of other brands. I'm excited to see E-Trailer with private label hitches. Time will tell if this holds up but honestly, there's so little that shows it's going to be great! I bought a 60k mile 2019 Ford Edge Titanium and will likely have it for another 100k based on past ownership. I'm confident this hitch will serve perfectly through that lifespan. Keep up the great work E-Trailer folks!
Bought the hitch so we could use our bike rack, and it has been an excellent addition to our 2021 Ford Edge. I actually had a high school auto shop class do the installation for me, and they did an excellent job. The hitch is barely visible at the back of the vehicle, but works perfectly for our purposes with hauling bikes!
Sturdy and easy to use. Hauling e-bikes on a rack with my Ford Edge. Works great! Low profile receiver does not detract from good looks of my car!
I haven't installed it yet I have bought hitches and light kits from this company before, and have always been happy with all their products and their super fast shipping.

Great and easy to install
Excellent fit, A few tips if working alone. (My car a 2020 Edge) WD40 the rubber muffler hangers first, use a tie down strap or rope under the big muffler, strap or rope (3 -4 inches below current position., YOU DO NOT have to remove bumper cover, Save the dirt /heat shield that attaches to bottom of bumper cover, ( you will need to cut out the area were now the drop down part of the receiver sets. Cut shield in half, also trim off both ends were one nut held on with the inner fender well Pic H3 This will cure the floppy issue one guy had with the bottom of bumper cover. I had tin snips but a hacksaw will work.
Do cut off the center stud above muffler, that the heat shield mounted too. I placed the right side of hitch on top of the tailpipe/ muffler. put drivers side on a spare jack stand about 4 in down from frame. feed through the clever feed wires on bolts, left the top 2 horizontal ones in frame , attached lower 2 first, be sure to keep one finger on that bolt when you screw off the guide wire. Repeat on drivers side done in a couple hours. Used the premade harness got from etrailer, and it made for fast work in getting light wires attached. First 2 pics looks like a factory install. Actually my 2nd hitch for an Edge., first hitch for 2020 Edge covid yr made car had a complete wiring harness failure so I trade up to a 2022 Edge, Installed another hitch same PN on the 2022 Edge, easy to install, looks awesome and has worked perfectly. Still looks brand new with that premium coating used on it.

Nice heavy duty hitch. Installation longer than expected. Wish chain loops didn’t hang so low. Easy to scrape
Solid hitch, install went good- 2018 MKX. Modified the backside bumper panel to fit it back in easy enough. Didn't love the safety chain hookup tabs, they hang a bit low but all the other hitches out there were the same. Went with the etrailer one from past experience in quality and price. Found the safety chains had to be shortened so they didn't hit the ground and even then were too close for my comfort. Ended up cutting the tabs off and welding on loops that went out the sides instead of down and placed them back further from the hitch to resolve that issue. Wish there was an aftermarket one that mounted more like the OEM- would look and work better but a cost vs value deal- OEM was 6x more expensive!

Fit perfectly, solid construction and video for the install was great. Love the compact design where you only see the reciever end and not the whole main cross beam.
Installation video on the website was extremely helpful! I had not problems installing the receiver on my 2021 Edge.

User friendly website, quality product as advertised. A 2” receiver and concealed drawbar as I requested. A reasonable price offered. For my purposes, this should be adequate to carry my two EBikes to and from various locations.

these were simple to install, no drilling. I watch the videos on the installation instructions and it was like I've done it before the only thing extra that i had to do was to deal with a little rust like using taps on existing holes but not bad
You would have received 5 stars except for the fact the flange where I hook the chains to is WAY too thick.
Really difficult to feed my “s” hook thru it.

I know that the safety chain brackets can sometimes be a little small for the safety chain hooks. In these cases, you can use quick links like part # DU83QR or part # RM-910022 to attach the safety chain hooks to. I hope this helps.
I Just installed the hitch 2 days ago on my 2016 Edge and installation was a breeze and he installation video was absolutely spot-on! I was able to easily mount my Bike carrier to the hitch and load up my e-bikes for a trip starting tomorrow.

1 year after installation and everything is great. Im happy with this purchase.
Installed hitch on 2019 Ford Edge about a year ago. Fit perfectly and works great.
The package came on the day it was supposed to be delivered and the installation went perfect thanks to your on-line videos.
Very happy with the product and customer service.
The hitch went on as advertised a fits well. The resulting install is somewhat low to the ground especially with a luggage carrier installed back there. This is something to think about on your install.
The Hitch fit perfect, feeding the bolts to the holes inside the frame will test your skill level, it is kind of ingenues the way they designed the cables that you use to pull the bolt and washers in place.
The hitch is working well. The installation video provides a great explanation. Great product.
