This truck rack works with tonneau covers so you can haul your gear and keep your bed covered. Channels in the uprights and crossbars let you attach a variety of accessories. Adapters attach to your tonneau cover rails with included hardware.

This truck rack includes adapters that let you fit the uprights to the top of your tonneau cover. First, slide the T-bolts into the tonneau cover's side rails. Then, place the adapter bases and uprights over the bolts and secure them with the included hardware. Once they are in place, you can proceed with the rest of the rack installation.

This package is awesome. It included everything needed to mount (and lock) to my Retrax XR cover. The crossbars are the perfect length for my 2017 F150. The rack is extremely solid, was easy to install, and will allow me to haul kayaks and/or bikes (plus ladders and lumber) without taking up my bed space. Not only was this package more expensive locally, but most did not stock it, some indicating it could be a month or more to get as the item is currently backordered through some distributors. Shipping was super quick. I ordered in the afternoon and it arrived the next day and customer service was fantastic. Thank you etrailer.com!
I purchased this rack for my gmc that has retrax cover. We use it to carry a canoe when camping. Everything fit like a glove during assembly and it has carried my canoe from the Rocky Mountains to the Smokey Mountains with no issues. I also purchased load stops after the fact to prevent the canoe from slipping off the sides during loading and unloading.

Dropped a screw I can’t find and called to see how I can get a replacement. E-trailer rep told me I would need to purchase a complete replacement kit for $[XX] and the shipping would be $[XX] plus the price of the kit. Damn expensive mistake for us both as I lost a screw and you lost a customer.

The Yakima Overhaul racks with a Retrax bed cover was a perfect solution for my GMC Sierra. It allows me to store paddle boards, surfboards and bikes while keeping other gear secured under the bed cover. The Yakima racks from etrailer is a great overall product. Easy to install/remove, sturdy, and adjustable height rack. There are many accessories available for the Overhaul racks allowing a custom setup.
The Yakima OverhaulHD I ordered to work with my RetraxPRO XR was exactly what I needed. It took me about 1 hour to install, and that was with me taking my time. I could easily do another one in less time. Word of caution though; download the instructions online as a guide. No instructions came with the HD rack itself, but the Tonneau kit did have instructions. I found it easier to take the Tonneau kit pads after positioning them, and place them onto the HD uprights, then placing them as a unit rather than trying to get the uprights to line up with the previously installed t-bolts. Don’t over tighten the uprights.
These racks were installed on my new 2020 GMC AT4. They really look good with the Retrax.

This is an AWESOME product for safely carrying outsized loads. I have a Ford F150 with the Retrax XR rail system and this kit works perfect! Definitely not a cheap investment but this will last and is very strong. Comes with locks to keep your expensive investment attached. I purchased the Yakima Whispbar WB401 kayak cradles mounts and they lock into the T-bar track on this rack no problem. The unit is very solid and worth the investment if you value your truck and your toys.
Great rack setup and install was super easy. Installed on a 2019 Chevy Silverado 1500 on a Retrax XR tonneau cover. Along with the Yakima SupDawg surf rack, haven’t even needed to raise the racks from their default height. Also best customer ever from etrailer. Even emailed me to let me know they can ship faster if I wanted a different crossbar length.
These Yakima Overhaul HD truck are outstanding! As a Mechanical engineer I can appreciate good quality workmanship and we'll engineers products. This rack system is certainly well engineered and we'll made. The installation was straight forward and the instructions are well writing. Less than hour to install and Yakima provides all the required tools.
As for the etrailer folks, well I couldn't be more pleased. Easy to order and the order tracking was really cool. You were able to see your order as it traveled from eTrailer to your home. Everyone I dealt with at etrailer was very helpful. I'll be placing another order soon!!!
I've owned this truck for just over one year and had the kayak about the same amount of time. Due to the short bed, hauling the kayak in my bed was not an option. This meant I had to pull my trailer to the river/lake any time we wanted to take the kayaks out. I got this rack for my birthday and integrates perfectly with the Retrax bed cover. Just need the weather to get warmer now so we can take the kayaks out. the rack fits perfectly, it was a breeze to install. Everything lined up and installed exactly how it was illustrated. The etrailer team kept me informed on my shipment and it was delivered quickly. This is a great option supplied from a great company.

Still sturdy and working great. I had one issue with a stripped out bolt and Yakima sent me new hardware with no questions asked. This set up is great for anything longer than my truck bed. I would definitely buy again.
This new Yakima HD truck bed rack is fantastic for my new Retrax XR Tonneau cover. I've been looking for months to get this rack and no one had it in stock due to the pandemic. etrailer was the first one that I noticed to have it in stock and they quickly shipped it to me and it arrived in about 3 days. The instructions we very straight forward and I installed it in about 45 minutes due to the easy connection with the T bolts and the slots in the Retrax XR cover. It was basically a matter of connecting the bolts/nuts and adjusting/lining up the support posts. I will be using it to haul 2 - 12' kayaks when I have my bumper pull camper in tow. I'll also be using 4 Yakima Handroll Kayak Loaders on the rear to assist in getting them loaded on top of the high bed rack. I can't wait to try it out on one of my long haul camping trips.

Ive used these awesome racks for a year now and Im really enjoying them. We took several long trips about 6,000 miles with our camper in tow and kayaks on top to 2 national parks. They worked great and held my 2 - 12 kayaks without any problem. I really like the way they attach to the Retrax XR top and came off extremely easy for winter storage while Im not using them.

Product is great, color has not faded, used often as kayak rack for two large 36” wide kayaks. I have had no issues with Yakima gear and highly recommend.
