This Yakima BaseLine setup is a full system ready to go, including 2 JetStream crossbars, 4 BaseLine towers, and a custom fit kit. It creates strong, stable space up top so you can haul gear for weekend adventures or long-distance travel. With aluminum construction and a 165-lb weight capacity, it gives you the confidence to load up everything you need without feeling limited by space inside the vehicle.
Roof racks can make noise at speed, but these JetStream bars are built to keep things calm. Their aero-style shape helps cut down on wind resistance, while rubber strips in the top channels push down around your carrier mounts to reduce whistling and vibration. The result is smooth airflow and quieter drives, even when you’re packed up for a trip.
Whether it’s a kayak cradle, cargo box, or ski holder, these crossbars are made for flexibility. The top channels work with hardware that slides directly into the track, or you can clamp accessories around the bars if that’s your setup. You won’t have to worry about switching systems just to bring different gear—the JetStream bars are compatible with most universal cargo, water, snow, and bike carriers.
Some racks make you cut rubber strips to fit accessories in the channels. These don’t. The push-down design lets you press hardware straight into place without trimming anything away. Once mounted, the strip closes back around your hardware, keeping things neat while helping block out unwanted wind noise.
If you want extra peace of mind when parked at campgrounds or trailheads, the towers accept Yakima Same Key System (SKS) lock cores (sold separately). Add them on and deter theft of your rack so your setup stays secure wherever your trip takes you.
