Roof Rack Recommendation for 2006 and 2021 Toyota Corolla to Use with Thule Hullavator Pro

Question:

I own a 2006 Toyota Corolla and plan to buy a Thule Hullavator 8869. I need to purchase a roof rack that is compatible with the car and Hullavator. Also, I plan to trade this car in for a 2021 Toyota Corolla next year. Would I be able to transfer the roof rack to the new car? If so, Id like a model compatible with both cars. I have no idea what I need to purchase though.

I recommend going with the Yakima JetStream roof rack system for your 2006 Toyota Corolla because it will be long enough to accommodate the Thule Hullavator Pro Kayak Carrier # TH898, and you'll be able to use the same crossbars and leg kit for your 2021 Toyota Corolla.

Then once you get the 2021 Corolla you just need the Fit Kits # Y06135 and # Y06151.

Yakima is arguably my favorite roof rack system because there are adjustments in the towers that keep your crossbars exactly level with each other. It not only looks more sleek but it also means that none of the parts are going to be fighting with each other when it comes to fitment.
