Recommended Roof Rack And Ski Carrier For 2017 Acura RDX With Naked Roof

Question:

I have a 2017 Acura RDX with no roof rack or cross bars attached. I want to install a roofrack system that will allow me to put 4 sets of skis on it as well. I want something that is of the highest quality, as quiet as possible and something that will not affect my manufacturers warranty. What are my options? Thanks!

The roof rack I recommend for your 2017 RDX is the Yakima Jetstream roof rack. This roof rack uses Black aerodynamic aluminum crossbars that are designed to dramatically reduce wind noise and vibration, and also reduce drag so it helps with fuel efficiency. This roof rack has a 165-lb weight capacity so 4 sets of skis will be no problem. Installing this roof rack will not affect the warranty of your Acura. For this roof rack you will need to order:

If you need a ski holder that will work with the Yakima roof rack I recommend the Thule SnowPack Ski & Snowboard Carrier, part # TH7324. This carrier can accommodate 4 pairs of skis or 2 snowboards. This system also includes a One-Key lock system that helps deter theft.
