This Yakima BaseLine Roof Rack gives you everything you need to add rooftop storage space. The system includes two 50" JetStream aluminum crossbars, four BaseLine towers, and a custom fit kit designed for vehicles with naked roofs. Once installed, it creates a strong platform that can handle up to 165 lbs while still following your vehicle’s roof contour for a clean look.
These aero-style crossbars are built to reduce wind noise and vibration when you’re driving at highway speeds. The rubber strips in the top channels stay in place—no trimming required—and close neatly around your accessory mounts to block airflow and keep things quiet. It’s a simple design that makes trips more peaceful, whether you’re heading to the lake or across the state.
From cargo boxes to kayak cradles, this rack works with most universal water, snow, and bike carriers. The JetStream bars accept gear that slides into the top channels or clamps around the bars, so you can switch setups depending on the season or your next adventure.
You can add Yakima Same Key System (SKS) lock cores (sold separately) to secure the rack to your roof. With locks in place, you can leave your vehicle parked overnight or at a trailhead knowing your rack is protected.
The JetStream crossbars are made of durable aluminum with a black finish that resists corrosion and wear. Each bar measures 50" long x 2-3/4" wide x 1-1/8" tall and includes a top channel sized at 7/8" wide x 7/16" tall with a 7/16" opening. The setup feels solid under load but won’t weigh down your vehicle.

Tghe racks have remained on since I installed them correctly, no thanks to your video. I read the manual it came with.
