I have no existing rails or crossbars and I was wondering if this fit kit is compatible with my 2017 Honda Civic. My buddy is giving me his used Yakima Whispbar setup and I was wondering if this fit kit would work on my car.. Thank you for your time and help.

I have a solution for you, but unfortunately I called my contact at Yakima and they confirmed that the Custom Fit Kit for Whispbar Flush, Through and HD Roof Rack Systems WB-K334 will not fit your 2017 Honda Civic sedan with a bare roof. Also, my contact confirmed that there are currently no fit kits or towers currently being produced that are compatible with your vehicle.
With that being said, there are some Yakima roof racks in production that will fit your 2017 Honda Civic. For a great system for your vehicle, I recommend the following parts:
