The system includes two 60" long JetStream aluminum crossbars, four BaseLine towers, and a custom fit kit for a solid setup on your naked roof. With a weight capacity of 165 lbs, you can load up gear for paddling, camping, or road trips without worrying about strength or stability.
Driving with crossbars can sometimes create unwanted wind noise. The JetStream’s aerodynamic shape and push-down rubber strips help reduce that. The strips fill the channels to smooth out airflow, minimizing vibration and whistling at highway speeds so the ride feels quieter and more relaxed.
Some racks make you trim rubber strips before installing attachments, which can be a hassle to get right. These bars skip that step. The push-down design lets you press your hardware directly into the top channel—no trimming needed. When not in use, the strips close back up to keep things sealed against noise and weather.
Whether it’s a kayak carrier, rooftop box, or bike rack, these aluminum aero-style crossbars play well with most universal cargo, water, snow, and bike carriers. You can mount accessories that slide into the top channels or those that clamp around the bars, giving you flexibility for whatever adventure comes next.
If you plan to leave gear on your vehicle overnight or at a trailhead, you can add Yakima Same Key System (SKS) lock cores (sold separately). They deter theft by securing the rack to your roof so your setup stays where you left it.

Great product... love that fact that I can take the bars on and off without having to disassemble the system. Very convenient when not its not being used.
After a year, the racks are holding up nicely and still have a solid fit. I only put them on the car when needed. It just takes a few minutes to set them up and go.

Did not get to mount anything to it but seems really sturdy. One thing I can say is mark out your mounting points with provided stickers then put up and make adjustments to the roof rack.

Your notice of schemes was a lot better than the yakima site provided. They did not suggest the scheme you did.
But when the products arrived, the instructions were by yakima. Generally worked as instructed except the tower to tower transverse mounting dimensions needed to be tweaked for a perfect fit.

Easy to install and sturdy. I carry a 9' pontoon boat on my camper shell using this rack at freeway speeds with no problems.
So far so good. Purchased these towers to use on a 2022 GMC Canyon with HD bars that I already had, primarily to carry my canoe. Yakima's fitting instructions worked perfectly and the whole system seems really solid.
We had to wait on stock a little longer than expected BUT etrailer kept me informed of the progress. Once I received the products installation was a breeze thanks to the instructional videos.

Work exactly as they should and hold everything securely to my vehicle without interfering with the car’s normal operation. etrailer had best prices based on my research. These bars are much quieter than traditional round bars and worth the added expense.
Excellent solution for my 2023 Chevy Silverado. In the past, I have had rails installed on the roof of my pickup trucks, but I find the BaseLine towers to be a better solution, since they don't permanently change the truck. Plus, they are much more solid than SkyLine system on the rails.

Great UX for finding the options matching my car, and the baseline towers work great. Simple straightforward site, will plan to use them again when needed.
For those also buying crossbars for cars without roof rails, recommend taking a silver sharpie and marking the placement of the crossbars on the weather seal at the top of the door openings. Makes putting them back on way less of a hassle if you don’t want them on 24/7.
