I am using this as part of a hitch extension for my hitch carrier on my jeep wrangler and this works great to secure the hitch extension.

My Yakima hitch which I purchased back in 2003 had a hitch pin that worked with a Yakima hitch pin lock on my previous vehicle. I purchased a Toyota Tacoma with a factory hitch and the the original hitch pin was not long enough to allow the lock to be attached to the pin. This new pin which has a longer shaft solved the problem and I can now use the hitch pin lock again to lock my Yakima bike rack to the hitch.

Over the winter I misplaced this bolt. I contacted Yakima support. They were out of stock, but referred me to eyraer for thhe part. Syracuse let is great. The price was very reasonable and shipped quickly. I highly recommend them.

The Replacement Hitch Bolt and Clip for Yakima HoldUp Hitch Mounted Bike Carrier - 2" Hitches - Y889020 was purchased for a used bike rack I purchased was missing. Unfortunately it was the wrong size, I had to purchase a different nut to fit the both. Yakima needs the list bolt size and number of threads so customers can tell if it will fit.

Still working fine!
Needed a threaded hitch pin for my old Yakima bike carrier. The original that came with the carrier was too short for my Toyota Tundra that allowed the locking device to work. This part was exactly what was needed, worked perfectly! Ordered on Sunday, shipped on Sunday, arrived in just a few days. At a great price too! Thanks etrailer.

Stephen, I am having a problem with my old Yakima bike rack pin being too short for my 2015 Tacoma. Is this one longer than the original Yakima? The description isnt too clear on that. Any feedback is greatly appreciated.Thanks

Ordered a hitch for our 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport. Works great. Then ordered a Yakima hitch-mounted bike rack. Also works just as advertised. Changed hitch mount from 1-1/4” with adapter to a straight 2” shaft. Much cleaner fit (no rattling). Needed the bolt/nut for the new configuration. Hitch pin Y8890200 fit my 2 inch receiver hitch as my existing 1 1/4 hitch sized pin was too short. Etrailer's web page helped me understand this part plus part 8880580 were both necessary to swap the tongue on my Yakima 2 bike tray style bike carrier as my new vehicle has a 2 inch hitch instead of the 1 1/4 hitch of my old vehicle. In my case, the new hitch pin Y8890200 needed a 24 mm wrench where the old hitch pin needed a 19 mm wrench.
Had to replace my original hitch bolt for the Yakima KingPin 4 on my 2020 Subaru Outback XT with dealer installed OME hitch. What I found was that the hitch 2 inch receiver opening walls were thicker than most other hitches, thus my original hitch bolt would not fit and allow for the use of my Yakama lock for the hitch bolt. This item is about 1.5 inches longer - thus worked perfectly. Hope this helps other Subaru owners.
Arrived in a timely fashion, and is the perfect bolt for a 2" hold up 2 Yakima bikerack.
My old Yakima ROC-2 hitch mount bike rack had one of the unthreaded "quick connect" hitch pins. It was a loose fit, and the rack wobbled way too much in the hitch receiver. The original threaded bolt for the ROC-2 is no longer available, but the Yakima support people said this bolt would fit. They're right! It's longer than it needs to be, but the extra length is not a problem. No more wobble!
Bought a replacement hitch pin bolt 5/8 for my Yakima bike rack 2” receiver. Item arrived as promised and was exactly what I needed to get my rack from rattling in the hitch. Price point was spot on for this as well as very reasonable shipping compared to the Yakima website.
5 Stars!!! This hitch bolt was spot on as it fitted my very old (20+years old) Yakima bike rack; stated dimensions were great as it allowed me to utilize locking mechanism at the end of hitch bolt
The part was sent timely and arrived in good condition, but it was not the right pin for our bike rack. This pin was too large around for the bike rack hole opening.

this was the bolt I needed for Yakima S wingaway
He salvaged a less than memorable performance by one of his peers by taking the time to listen and research my needs for a part needed for my Yakima Bike Rack. He "rocks" and I am now quite happy once again. I had lost the part which allows me to safely lock the rack on my vehicle.
I've been looking for parts for my bike rack, and guess what I should have looked on etrailer.com to begin with. I've gotten hitches from here but never thought about your company having bike carrier parts. Great selection, fast shipping would recomend your company to everyone. I needed a new anti rattle hitch pin, and a new tire cup.
Solid hitch bolt. The threads were straight and pin is blemish free. A+
