Roof Rack Recommendation for 2012 Honda Accord for Cargo Box

Question:

Can you help me find the best roof rack and adaptors for my 2012 Honda Accord Coupe? I need it so I can use the Thule Force XT XL cargo carrier. Thank you for your help!

Hey Isabel, for your 2012 Honda Accord coupe the Yakima Jetstream roof rack part number # Y23HB would be a great choice for carrying a Thule XT cargo box. This is a custom fit rack that fits your Accord that is really well made and quiet due to the aero shape of the bars. Do you have the Thule box already?

Thanks for the response! Yes, I already have the thule cargo box, but wasn’t sure if it was too big for my car. Would that Yakima roof rack you indicated be all I would need to order, or would I need anything else? Thanks you soooo much! Isabel

@IsabelE Actually I may have spoke too soon. So I looked further into this roof rack and the roof cargo box you have and the crossbar spread of this rack is a little too small for your box. It's within an inch so it might work BUT a much better option would be the Inno part # IN63YR which I was able to confirm has a compatible crossbar spread with the box you have.
