The motor and control unit automatically extend and retract the steps as the door opens and closes, so you never have to think about pulling steps out or tucking them away. The 12V motor drives a solid gearbox for smooth action, and the control unit powers both the steps and the amber C193 incandescent light that makes each 24" wide by 11-1/8" deep tread easy to see at night. The unit draws 10 amps and connects using hardwired pigtails for reliable power every time you open the door.
These steps are built from sturdy, powder-coated steel with weatherproof wiring, solid steel drive rods, and stainless steel bushings that keep them moving freely. Air-pressed rivets at all the pivot points add long-term strength. Each step supports up to 300 lbs and stands up to frequent use without flexing or wobbling. Steps were easy to install, and work perfectly. It’s been about a year now and they work just as good as day one!
Not bad for replacement steps. Not nearly as sturdy as the original ones but instillation was fairly easy and they work great!
Much heavier than the old Kwikee step. Seems to also be more sturdy.

everything worked beautifully
It is a good step but it is about 3 to 4 inches lower and when my motor home is at its lowest level it hits the ground until the air ride lifts the coach. It was the only heavy duty step that you had.
I received courteous assistance to order the correct replacement steps from etrailer for my motorhome. My husband and nephew installed them and they have worked great over the past year. I will not hesitate to use etrailer again.

It was an exact fit. The replacement was very easy It has preformed perfectly since the installation
I had the same steps but at 7 years they started failing and banging no matter how much they were cleaned and lubed. The new ones were exact plug and play wiring wise. Very hard to get the 2 outside bolts tightened but it’s all back to normal now.

Steps operate very smoothly in and out with no binding or banging.
Exact match to the old one.
Fast shipping and product arrived in great shape. Used a harbor freight transmission jack to hold new unit in place. Bolted up and attached wiring harness( no splicing required ) it was a easy job but you need two people or the jack.
Arrived quickly, in good condition. Direct swap in my 2016 Jayco Greyhawk. Did need a couple wire connectors, and inline fuse connector(not sure why at this price Kwikee did not include the whole fuse holder??!!!, kind of disappointing on that point).
