Replacement For Kwikee Series 42 Steps

Question:

I have a 2000 Country Coach Intrigue with Kwikee Series 42 steps and the original step controller manufactured in 03/1999. I think the LC 379146 is the correct controller. Am I on the right track?

Hi Rick; so unfortunately that is not correct due to the age of your Series 42 steps. Per Lippert (the manufacturer of Kwikee), steps from early 1999 actually have no replacement parts available due to the age (see below).

So while I know it stinks, the only thing I can offer is to replace your Series 42 steps with a new unit, the Replacement Steps, Motor, and Control for Kwikee RV Electric Steps - 42 Series # LC372779.
