This Yakima SkyLine setup gives you a solid, ready-to-go roof rack system built around two 50" JetStream crossbars, four SkyLine towers, and a custom fit kit. Made from aluminum and finished in black, it’s strong enough for up to 165 lbs of gear—so you can load kayaks, cargo boxes, or camping equipment with confidence. It mounts to fixed points on your roof for a secure hold that feels stable even on long highway drives.
The aero-style crossbars are shaped to keep air moving smoothly over the roofline. That means less wind noise and less vibration at speed. The top channels are sealed by rubber strips that press down when you install accessories, so there’s no need for trimming or cutting. Once loaded, those same strips close up around the hardware to help quiet things down even more.
Some racks make you cut channel fillers before adding accessories—these don’t. The push-down rubber strips let you press the hardware straight into the top channels without any trimming. The design keeps installation quick and clean while sealing against wind and weather once everything’s in place.
Whether you’re hauling bikes, kayaks, skis, or a cargo box, these bars are compatible with most universal cargo, water, snow, and bike carriers. They work with both channel-mount and clamp-around attachments, so you can use your existing mounts or mix in new ones without needing extra parts.
When you want extra peace of mind, the towers accept Yakima Same Key System (SKS) lock cores (sold separately). They help deter theft by letting you lock your rack with a single key—useful when you’re parked at campgrounds or trailheads overnight.

Tghe racks have remained on since I installed them correctly, no thanks to your video. I read the manual it came with.
