This hitch receiver fit my 2022 Audi perfectly!! I was nervous about having to remove the bumper facia, but etrailer's video tutorial explained every step, going above and beyond. I will definitely use and recommend etrailer for future purchases!

The product works so well that I never even think I about it. It handles my e mountain bike like a champ.
The hitch was easy to install. Videos help with trim removal but on an Audi q5 2020 PHEV you need to leave the old aluminum bumper off and use the hitch with the stabilizer bar only. You need to remove the 8 torque 25 screws in the trunk that hides the batteries. Remove the cooling fan to get to the two trim bolts over the bumper. Four 10mm bolts and unclip the electrical to remove. Other than that it’s like any other q5 that has a spare tire.
Everything about the product and the support for this hitch was spot on. We have a 2021 Audi Q5, the video for installation was super helpful, and there was only one item during the install that was a challenge - in the video, it was stated that there were only two 10mm bolts holding the bumper on (the ones that they stated to not drop) but in fact, there were four that needed to be removed. Other than that, the video was perfect and we completed the installation in 2 hours. I installed my last hitch (Honda Accord, 2019) via your video as well. With the Audi, I would say that you definitely need a second person to help. Good stuff, thanks for the support and the install video. Amy in sales was awesome too!! GR

The best thing about buying this was the incredible video for installation that he trailer has on YouTube. I am not sure I’ve ever been as impressed with a complete video that goes step-by-step. Well done!
Showed up fast, fit correctly. Installation showed a 10/10 in difficulty, but it wasn’t that bad. 2 hrs. Video on etrailer website was all the instruction needed aside from getting torque specs for bolts.

Watching the video with my exact year car I was able to do this with little to no problems. I do think it would help to add in the torque specs because my owner manual did not have one and the torque spec in the instructions snapped one of the bolts (maybe also putting one extra bolt on would help). Regardless great product, video made it easy to put on we are already using it!
The hitch arrived when expected without a hitch, sorta speak. The installation went great. I'm very happy with the purchase and the process.
Very good hitch. Didn’t have to cut into lower bumper facia like the u-haul solution was proposing. I followed the install video for my 2024 Audi Q5. Took about 2 hours. Looks factory installed. My brand new car still looks new after removing and reinstalling all the rear bumper facia.

I had someone else install this hitch, so while I can’t speak to that process, I CAN say that I feel fully confident in and happy with my purchase! Fits exactly as advertised. 2023 Audi Q5. Instructional video was perfect. Instructions filled in the gaps…torque of replacement bolts. Took a little over 2 hours as I had never worked on an Audi before and it is my wife’s car.
Perfect fit for our 2023 Audi Q5. We outsourced the installation to a local shop, but he carefully followed the install video these guys provided, and he said it was a great help to him. Great job guys!
The service and delivery time was first rate, the hitch looks very well made, the installation video made installation straightforward, and it looks good on the car. I have not installed the trailer wiring yet but expect no problems with that.
Install hitch on my 2022 Audi Q5 yesterday. Following the installation video made the job very easy to follow. I am a reasonably good DIYer. Initially, I saw the installation on my vehicle was rated by etrailer as a 10/10 for difficulty. After watching video and performing the install, I would say its closer to 5/10. Any person with reasonable mechanical ability and the right tools shown in the video should be able to perform. I'm also very happy with the quality of the hitch.
Corners of the plates welded to ends of tube punctured through the box. Corners of plates had powder coating rubbed off (pic #1 inside of box). Hitch receiver side had also punched through the wall of box but it comes wrapped in tape so no powder coat issues there.
I followed the you tube video for install and the dish soap spray helped lube clips for removing bumper fascia.
Easy install, looks great, be patient removing fascia and paper towel trick works for removing nuts.
Arrived 2 days before road trip. 3.5 hours to install (1 hardware store trip). Kuät Sherpa 2.0 bike rack looks great.
The included instructions are helpful, and we also found the install video for a different hitch (same car) that helped a ton. Patience is key. Getting the bumper back on without any trimming was possible, but it was definitely not easy. Glad I had another person helping me. All in all, the installation was smooth with only three minor hiccups: the hitch fouled on a muffler shield (used pliers to slightly bend to not be an issue), the instructions didn’t mention disconnecting two wires (the video did, and was very easy with video instructions), and getting the bumper over the hitch without trimming was very tricky and took some effort to flex the bumper around it. Ultimately, the instructions and video did help immensely and I was pleased with the install and process.
I was pleased that this hitch in particular did not replace the crash bar.
Nice hitch. Fits well. Installation did require trimming of lower portion of valence. Not mentioned in description.
It fits perfectly on my car
Solid hitch, good price, good communication, fast shipping. The instructions provided with the hitch left a bit to be desired (I have the 2020 Q5 Hybrid and the instructions didn't cover some of the hybrid vehicle specifics). But as another etrailer customer suggested in their review, I used the instructions from another hitch manufacturer which were more comprehensive and all was good. Also, the bottom of my bumper cover didn't have the removable trailer hitch panel that most seem to have, so I had to make a cut-out in my bumper cover. This was the most time consuming part of the installation as I took my time to make sure I got the cut-out in the right place and didn't cut more than was necessary.
This hitch looks like it came from the factory, incredible value. I did the complete installation in 3hrs 15min, alone, and taking water breaks lol. I recommend asking someone to help with the lifting parts, was a little challenging alone.
