Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. And today we're gonna take a brief look at this rubber window edge weather strip for RVs. Now, if you're needing to replace your old, and worn out weather stripping around your RV windows before water damage creates a costly headache, this just might be what you need. This window edge weather stripping keeps water from leaking in and around your RV windows. And it's also going to reduce wind noise and vibration. This is going to be an easy installation, you're just going to press in this weather stripping into the gaps between the glass and the retaining metal frame.
A tucking tool is recommended to help ease the installation, and that is an item that is sold separately. So if you don't have one already that is something you would have to pick up on your own to make this a little bit easier. And then you just simply use scissors to trim the extra seal that you are not going to need. This is made in the USA of EPDM dense rubber that won't shrink, crack, or fade over time. And it feels very durable, and I think it's going to last you quite some time.
It is also resistant to UV damage. Now, what you're gonna receive here is a 30 foot long strip. And let me get my ruler out here just to give you some other smaller measurements that you might find helpful. The width of this strip, we're sitting right at about, right at about 1/4 of an inch wide. And then looking at the height, measuring this way looks like we're sitting right at about 19 30 seconds of an inch on that height.

Well haven’t used the weather strip yet still have it going to keep it if it starts leaking , found the metal band that holds the rubber in place has metal screws all around the band all of them were loose it pulls the rubber against the window loosen all of them more put silicone around the rubber and window hasn’t leaked a drop yet need to tighten screws like tighten a head gasket staggered don’t pull rone side completely down rotate every screw hasn’t leaked back yet
This part was a great replacement for my window molding which was allowing dirt and water to enter the RV from the outside. Product was used on a 2007 Fourwinds Windsport.
Definitely fit snugger than the old weather strip. Hopefully fixes our window leak.

I have old aluminum framed windows on my 42' boat. Looked everywhere to find replacement weather stripping as the original was cracked and missing in many places creating leaks in heavy rains. This was a perfect replacement and sealed all the leaking windows perfectly. Fairly easy to work with, just takes a lot of manual manipulation to get completely seated. Highly recommend!

Product quality seems great. Install was easy. Great to know window on rear of RV is sealed well. Original seal had shrunk and had pulled away from all four corners.Ordered another length so I can redo side windows.
