What Gauge Wire Does the Curt 5-Way OE T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness Use

What gauge wire runs into the 5 way connector

I spoke with Curt and they informed me that the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness part # C56584 uses 12 gauge wire for the ground and then the rest are all 14 gauge which is plenty for most trailers. I have personally never heard of any issues with this harness related to the gauge of wire used.
